摘要: Apparatus for forming a resilient unit comprises a conveyor and first and second spring supply stations, arranged in use to deposit respectively first and second spring types and under compression onto the conveyor. At the pocketing station the springs are urged from the conveyor into positions between upper and lower sheets, by a plurality of inserter devices that move together in a reciprocating fashion, before retracting to the position shown. Upper and lower computer-controlled welding tools come together at positions between the springs to join the sheets together. After each welding event the resilient unit is indexed forwards a distance equal to one pocket width in the direction by computer-controlled drive means. The next row of springs is then conveyed into position ready for insertion between the sheets of material, and the process is repeated.

The vibration isolator includes an inner shaft and an outer sleeve attached to a pair of springs. The springs dampen vibration or feedback transferred from the percussion mechanism to the outer sleeve and felt by the operator. The percussion mechanism includes a pair of elbows and an air conduit which allows the airflow to move through a second flow path into a second air space when the valve assembly directs the airflow through the second flow path.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a shock absorbing arrangement suitable e.g. for ship installed structures comprising a rod, a resilient member arranged in connection to the rod, a structure element and a locking member arranged in connection to the structure element. The locking member is arranged to detachably lock the structure element at a resting position at the rod and the locking member, or the structure element, is supported by the resilient member. The resilient member is configured such that a spring force of the resilient member acts to maintain the structure element essentially at the resting position at the rod. The locking member is further configured to release the structure element from the resting position when being exposed to a force exceeding a predetermined holding force, whereupon the resilient member acts to reinstate the locking of the structure element at the resting position at the rod. The present disclosure further relates to a shock absorbing structure comprising such shock absorbing arrangements.

摘要: In an aspect, a spring assembly is provided for an isolator, and includes first and second helical compression springs, a retainer and a spring housing. The first helical compression spring has a central aperture and has a first end and a second end. The second helical compression spring having a central aperture and having a first end and a second end, wherein the second spring is coaxial with and nested within the first spring. The retainer has a base and a post that extends from the base into the central aperture at the first end of the second helical spring. The spring housing that has an interior space in which the first and second springs are positioned, and further includes a base-engaging aperture that holds the base of the retainer. The spring housing includes a drive wall that is engaged with the first ends of the first and second springs.

摘要: End mounts are used to secure a helical tension spring to end fixtures with various shapes and sizes. These end mounts contain an inner hole to encase the inner spring end mount and secure the end mount making it like a cap. There is also a keyhole created in the top surface that goes through the end mount allowing it to fit over the fixtures but not over the inner end mount, holding it in place. Grooves are machined in a helical pattern on the cylindrical side wall of the end mount. The spring is wound onto the grooves of the end mount.

摘要: An exemplary embodiment provides a method of manufacturing a string of pocketed spring coils comprising: simultaneously making at least two spring coils; simultaneously transporting the at least two spring coils to a compressor: simultaneously compressing the at least two spring coils; simultaneously inserting the at least two compressed spring coils between top and bottom plies of a piece of fabric; welding the top and bottom plies of the fabric along an edge of the folded fabric parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fabric and opposite the folded edge of the fabric; welding the top and bottom plies of the fabric along lines transverse to the longitudinal axis of the fabric between each of the compressed spring coils to create a plurality of pockets, each pocket encompassing a compressed spring coil; and expanding each of the compressed spring coils within each of the plurality of pockets.
