An upper end of the bracing frame is attached to a distal attachment point of the fixed beam portion, such that a distal portion of the fixed beam portion extends beyond the bracing frame.     摘要: A telescopically extendible camera crane arm includes a second section telescopically movable within a first section. A first actuator extends the second section and a second actuator retracts the second section. A control valve has first and second ports connected to provide pressurized fluid to the first and second actuators. An inlet port of the control valve is connected to a pressurized fluid source, such as a pump or accumulator of a hydraulic system. The control valve has extend, off, and retract positions. The control valve provides a threshold amount of fluid pressure to the first and second actuators when in the off position, and provides a greater than the threshold amount of fluid pressure to the first and second actuators, when in the extend or retract positions. A stop valve may be connected to an outlet port of the control valve, with the stop valve having an open position wherein fluid can flow freely out of the outlet port, and a closed position wherein the stop valve stops fluid flow out of the outlet port. The threshold amount of fluid pressure maintains the cables and/or other linkages of the arm under tension or compression. This places the stationery arm in a balanced equilibrium which provides for very sensitive and rapid control of arm movements.

    摘要: A mobile lift crane includes a carbody having moveable ground engaging members; a rotating bed rotatably connected to the carbody such that the rotating bed can swing with respect to the ground engaging members; a boom pivotally mounted on the rotating bed; a load hoist line trained over a pulley on the boom and wound on a load hoist drum connected to the rotating bed; and a boom hoist drum mounted in a frame. The boom hoist drum frame is connected to the rotating bed and a boom hoist line is wound on the boom hoist drum and connected to an upper equalizer and a lower equalizer, with the upper equalizer connected to the top of the boom by fixed length pendants, such that rotation of the boom hoist drum changes the amount of boom hoist line between the lower equalizer and the upper equalizer, thereby changing the angle between the rotating bed and the boom. The boom hoist drum frame, the lower equalizer and the upper equalizer each include cooperating attachment structures whereby the lower and upper equalizers can be detachably connected to the frame so that the boom hoist drum, the lower equalizer, the upper equalizer and the boom hoist line can be transported between job sites as a combined assembly.A method of dissembling and transporting the mobile lift crane involves a) disconnecting the fixed length pendants from between the boom top and the upper equalizer; b) disconnecting the lower equalizer from the rotating bed; c) disconnecting the boom hoist drum frame from the rotating bed; d) leaving the boom hoist line reeved between the lower equalizer and the upper equalizer and wound on the boom hoist drum; e) connecting the lower equalizer to the boom hoist drum frame; and f) transporting the boom hoist drum, boom hoist drum frame, lower equalizer, upper equalizer and boom hoist line together on a single transport trailer between one job site and another.
