摘要: There is disclosed a system and methods of use for quickly and efficiently excavating, cross-cutting, splitting, and loading or stockpiling tree stumpage and other tree or organic materials, as well as for performing ground cleanup operations. One embodiment provides a stump harvester for attachment to a distal end of an excavator arm. The stump harvester may include front and back jaw assemblies configured to pivot between open and closed positions. The back jaw assembly may include a knife arm having a cutting blade that extends along a majority of a front side of the knife arm. A centerline plane may bisect a cutting edge of the blade. The front jaw assembly may include a planar-aligned dual anvil configured to sheath the cutting edge of the blade when the front and the back jaw assemblies move into the closed position. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: In a lifting clamp, a pair of opposite pieces are provided to a main body, wherein the opposite pieces are opposed to form a gripping space where an object to be transported can be gripped. Contact units to contact the object to be transported are provided on the respective gripping space sides of the opposite pieces. A handle is attached to the main body to be rotatable relative to a spindle that is disposed along a gripping direction shown by a dot-dashed line. A conversion unit that converts a rotational movement by turning of the handle into gripping movement to push the contact unit to the gripping side is disposed between the contact unitand the opposite piece. The contact unitis attached to a spindle that supports the handleon one side, and the size of the gripping space can be changed by sliding the spindle with respect to the opposite piece.

摘要: A device and method for lifting a hollow bodied block includes an elongated body having a top end and a bottom end with a handle attached to the top end. A first arm rigidly extends from the elongated body in a substantially perpendicular direction and is configured to engage an inner surface of the block. A second arm is pivotally attached to the bottom end of the elongated body in a substantially opposite direction to that of the first arm. Upon exerting a lifting force on the handle of the lifter, the second arm rotates relative to the elongated body, forming a desired angle with the first arm and creating an outward force sufficient to grip and lift the block.

摘要: A medical device includes (a) a capsule including a lumen extending therethrough, a proximal end of the capsule including at least one window extending therethrough; (b) a bushing including a channel extending therethrough, a distal end including at least one arm extending distally therefrom such that a corresponding one of the arms is releasably engagable with a corresponding one of the windows; and (c) a core member including a locking portion and at least one engaging element. The locking portion is sized and shaped to be received within the channel of the bushing to apply a pressure to the arm such that the arm engages the windows. The engaging element extends laterally outward from a portion of the core member such that the engaging element engages a corresponding one of the arms to deform the arms radially inward and out of engagement with the windows.

摘要: An extraction tool for an embedded arrow head works by attaching a slide hammer shaft to the embedded arrow and then working an outer slide hammer body along the shaft to engage cooperating travel stops to kinetically work the arrow head from a dense material in which the arrow is embedded.
