摘要： For compensation of changes in rotational speeds, for example, occurring because of varying loads on the motors, the drive mechanisms for at least two kinds of working units have a common synchronizing mechanism and are connected operably by a torque transfer device. The torque transfer device comprises, for example, a drive belt and two drive pulleys, each of which is attached to a different drive mechanism. The common synchronizing mechanism can comprise either a common rotational speed control or an adjustable current supply for the motors of the drive mechanisms.

摘要： Method of and apparatus for operating an open end spinning machine having a plurality of spinning units each including a sliver feeding device, a fiber separating device, a twist forming element, a yarn taking-off device, yarn winding device and a reversing mechanism for returning the yarn end back into the twist forming element. The twist forming element and the fiber separating device are set in operation; thereafter the fiber feeding is started simultaneously with the yarn end reverse travel to return same into the twist forming element in which a fibrous ribbon is formed of the fibers supplied. After spinning-in said yarn end with said fibrous ribbon the yarn is again set into a forward operative travel.

摘要： A method and device are disclosed for cutting a rove at doffing in a flyer frame, wherein during the normal winding operation thereof the rove drawn out from front rollers is passed through the center hole of a flyer top, the hole of a hollow leg of a flyer, and over a presser and wound on a driven bobbin which is arranged on a bobbin rail moving up and down along the bobbin guide arbor of the flyer. Just before the doffing, the supply of the rove from the front rollers is failed and the bobbin and the flyer are caused to continue rotations substantially at the same speed for a time period sufficient to allow a predetermined number of rotations of both the bobbin and flyer, whereby the rove between the flyer top and the front rollers is subject to a stronger twist than that given during the normal winding operation. This assures that the rove is always cut of itself at an optimum portion thereof at the doffing.

摘要： A system for the spinning or twisting of thread or yarn in which a thread is supplied by a strand-supply spool and is collected on a strand-takeup spool so that the strand spans the distance between the spools over a predetermined length, the twist-generating spool being driven for a predetermined number of turns to bring the number of twists over the length to the normal twisting level before the two spools are operatively connected together for joint operation at the normal rate. The delay between operation of the nontwist-generating spool and the twist-generating spool is created by a counter responsive to the number of twists produced in the length during the interval.
