    摘要： A textile machine has a bank of spindles each provided with a flyer having a presser finger and a fork having a plurality of elongated teeth thereon for simultaneously removing full bobbins from the spindles and for supplying empty bobbins to the spindles. A safety device is provided for moving the presser fingers out of the paths of the empty bobbins as the empty bobbins are inserted into the flyers, comprising deformable elements extending longitudinally of the teeth of the fork. The presser fingers have members thereon so positioned as to be engaged by the deformable elements and to swing the presser fingers out of the paths of the empty bobbins when the empty bobbins are inserted into the flyers by movement of the fork in one direction. The presser finger members are also so positioned as to engage the deformable elements upon movement of the fork in a direction opposite that one direction after emplacement of the empty bobbins on the spindles in the flyers, to urge the presser fingers to swing toward the empty bobbins. The deformable elements are in the form of an elongated brush.

    摘要： A spinning apparatus winds a strand onto a yarn package by relatively rotating a flyer and the yarn package about an upright axis so as to wind the strand in a succession of turns around the package by a flyer finger movable axially relative to the package. Each successive layer of turns is shorter than the preceding one so that the finished package has an axially upwardly tapered upper end. After substantially completely forming the package the rotation is generally stopped to leave the flyer in a position with the finger below the upper end of the last layer of turns formed on the package. Then the package and finger are relatively axially moved until the finger is generally at the upper end of the first layer of turns formed on the package. The flyer and package are then relatively rotated forward, that is in the same direction as when the package was being formed, through at least one half revolution about the axis so as to form a loop of the strand around the upper package end. Slack is then created in the strand upstream of the package and the finger is moved downward below the level of the upper end of the outer layer. Finally the strand is cut below the level of the upper end of the outer layer.

    摘要： An automatic spinning start-up flyer for a roving frame which has on a flyer arm a swingably-mounted pressing finger comprised of a pressing finger bar and a pressing finger arm with a pressing finger blade. The pressing finger assembly is mounted on a pivot axis at the centrum of the connection of the pressing finger with the flyer arm and is rotated about the bobbin center. The pressing finger rod lies outside the radius along which the pressing finger arm with pressing finger blade are arranged and the pressing finger bar is actuatable by an actuating element effective transverse to the pivot axis upon the pressing finger bar to swing the pressing finger into its outwardly-swung position. With the flyer, a wide opening of the pressing finger can be effected automatically for automatic bobbin change without a loading of the pressing finger against the sleeve or bobbin. This is achieved in that the flyer arm has at least one spring element whose spring force is effective on the pressing finger only in a pivot region thereof in which the center of gravity of the pressing finger lies outside the radius.
