摘要:
The present invention involves three dimensional woven structures which include interwoven bias fibers and at least one integrally woven junction, and a loom for weaving these structures. The loom includes bias fiber holders, bias shuttles, and independently controllable bias arms to interweave the bias fibers. Each bias fiber holder holds a bias fiber under tension. The bias shuttles may releasably grip a number of the bias fiber holders and translate them horizontally between a plurality of predetermined horizontal positions. Each bias shuttle is at a separate vertical position. At least one bias shuttle translates above the shed and at least one bias shuttle translates below the shed. Each independently controllable bias arm may releasably grip one of the bias fiber holders and translate it vertically, at one of the predetermined horizontal positions, with a range of motion extending at least between two of the bias shuttles.

Carbon nanotubes and activated carbon containing a metal such as palladium release a photoacoustic effect when subjected to a flash of light. A light ignitable, energetic composition is produced by mixing one of them with an energetic material such as carbon black powder or ammonium perchlorate.

In an antifouling papermaker's fabric woven from a warp and weft made of synthetic resin filament, the fabric is coated with a resin composition made by blending a two-liquid reaction type epoxy resin with a prepolymer of phenolsulfonic acid as a curing agent to form on the surface of a constituent yarn an antifouling coating film constituted by a reaction product of the composition.

The woven fabric belt device, e.g., an endless screen belt for paper and pulp machines includes a connecting device (7anull; 7bnull) located at at least one end of the woven fabric belt (20null, 21null). The connecting device is connectable to another connecting device (7bnull; 7anull) of the same belt or of another one through a detachable connecting means (9null). A number of certain longitudinal yarns (2null, 2null) are removed from the fabric (20null) along a section (4null, 4null) assigned to the end of the woven fabric belt. According to the teachings of the invention, the removed sections (4null, 4null) of the longitudinal yarns (2null, 2null) are arranged so as to rest on at least one side of the woven fabric belt (20null, 21null) in a region located in front of the connecting device (7anull; 7bnull) so that a support (10null; 10null) protecting the connecting devices (7anull; 7bnull) is provided when the woven fabric belt travels over a working area (AF).

The reduced toxicity hypergolic bipropellant fuels of the present invention contain a hypergolic fuel and rocket grade hydrogen peroxide oxidizer, preferably HTP. The hypergolic fuel may be a reactive fuel or a catalytic fuel. The rocket grade hydrogen peroxide oxidizer consists of about 90 weight % to about 99 weight % H2O2, more preferably about 94 weight % to 99 weight % H2O2. However, hypergolic ignition may be attained with a H2O2 content as low as 70 weight % for some reactive fuels. The reactive fuel comprises about 6 weight % to 10 weight % reducing agent in a solvent. The catalytic fuel comprises about 6 weight % to 10 weight % catalytic agent in a solvent. The reactive fuels contain ingredients that are intrinsically reactive with rocket grade hydrogen peroxide. Upon contact with rocket grade hydrogen peroxide oxidizer, reactive fuels react vigorously with the hydrogen peroxide resulting in ignition. The catalytic fuels are produced by dissolving a catalytic agent in a solvent. The catalized fuels contain a catalyst, which, upon contact/mixing with the hydrogen peroxide, promotes rapid catalytic decomposition of the rocket grade hydrogen peroxide liberating a highly reactive form of oxygen and heat and thus resulting in subsequent ignition.

A single layer textile for manufacturing a construction material is obtained by weaving warps and wefts. Each of the warps are selected from a monofilament, a monofilament twine and a core line yarn having a core line of a monofilament, and a bundled yarn having small-diameter raw yarns bundled to form fine water sucking spaces between the raw yarns. The wefts contain both monofilaments and the bundled yarns.

A non azide gas generant composition of nitroguanidine and phase stabilized ammonium nitrate is provided. This gas generant composition has many desirable characteristics such as little production of ash and the production of essentially toxic free exhaust gas. When nitroguanidine is compressed into a pellet it has needle shaped crystals that bend or distort. When the gas generant pellets are subjected to thermal cycling some nitroguanidine crystals will return to their native conformation resulting in pellet growth. To eliminate this pellet growth, nitroguanidine is passed through a VBM mill. The media in the VBM mill pulverizes the nitroguanidine into an amorphous crumb.

This invention provides a surface fastener having a stabilized configuration, wherein a foundation cloth of the surface fastener has a double weaving structure and engaging elements are fixed firmly. This surface fastener is composed of a double weaving structure. Front foundation cloth and rear foundation cloth are woven with a plain weaving structure using warp yarn and weft yarn of double pick. Engaging element yarn is woven such that it strides over a warp yarn laterally and alternately every several picks, such that a loop portion of an engaging element is protruded from the surface. Then, a thermal melting yarn of synthetic fiber having a lower melting point than the synthetic fiber of each of the warp yarn, weft yarn and engaging element yarn is inserted and woven so as to intervene between the front foundation cloth and the rear foundation cloth. By melting the thermal melting yarn by heating, the front foundation cloth and the rear foundation cloth are welded together integrally. Because the foundation cloths have no back coating structure, this surface fastener ensures an excellent tactual feeling.

A textile article includes a main body comprising yarns woven in a first weave pattern forming the majority of the total surface of the textile article. Woven into the textile article is a signature space comprising yarns woven in a second weave pattern different from the first weave pattern such that the surface of the signature space is relatively smooth in comparison with the main body and is readily written upon by hand with an ink pen. Preferably the signature space is woven in a flat weave pattern. The signature space can comprise a denser weave than that of the main body, and finer weft yarns can be used than those in the main body. The main body can be woven in a non-flat weave pattern.
