The rope layer may be provided on the first conveyor structure layer and includes a plurality of warp ropes. The cloth layer may be disposed above the rope layer. The plurality of second wefts and the plurality of first wefts may be obliquely intertwined with each other and wrapped on the rope layer, or on the cloth layer, or on the rope layer and the cloth layer. The second conveyor belt structure layer may be provided on the core structure layer.

    摘要: Novel woven materials, producible by a new weaving method, are described that comprise single or doubled warps and wefts in the form of tapes that are preferably partially stabilized type of fibrous tape. These fibres are caused to occur in a non-linear arrangement during the weaving process. The non-linear fibres can be subsequently straightened by pulling the tape longitudinally. The doubled warps and wefts comprise disconnected tapes. Such separateness of constituent tapes of doubled warp and weft tapes enables them to be slid/slipped relative to each other by pulling longitudinally and laterally without causing any alteration in the woven structure. These novel fabrics solve the problem of uneven fibre distribution and orientation arising from crumples/wrinkles due to compression and stretches due to extension, at the inner and outer sides respectively, when tape-woven fabrics are curved into shapes. Further, by using doubled warps and wefts fabrics with relatively flat/planar sections and thicker/raised wide rib sections can be also created that resemble a bit like a profiled material in its cross-section. Other fabrics like those comprising slant/oblique weft tapes, shaped warp and weft tapes, formed shape within its body are also producible.

    摘要: A novel molded fabric is made by bringing a first patterned group of numerous discrete disjoint elements positioned on a first side of a contact boundary extending throughout the thickness of the fabric being molded, together with a second patterned group of numerous discrete disjoint elements, over-lapping the first group of discrete disjoint elements, on the opposite side of the contact boundary, and joining the elements together at their tip portions. Various techniques are disclosed for maintaining separation of overlapping cross-over portions of the thread elements crossing each other during joining the terminal portions together, so that they simulate woven cloth. First and second rolls can carry the elements in molten form within cavities in the roller surfaces or patterns of solid elements within first and second matrices, can be joined together at the nip of the rolls by heat or chemical means to produce substantial savings in fabric manufacture.

    摘要: The fabric structure of a belt intended for use as a vehicle safety belt is characterised by warp (1) and weft (3) threads, wherein the warp threads (1) extend in the lengthwise direction of the belt (2) and the weft threads (3) extend in the transverse direction thereto, wherein in the load-free state the warp threads (1) are looped around the weft threads (3) which extend in a straight line and wherein at least in a lengthwise section of the belt the weft threads (3) are formed in such a manner that they can extend in length in comparison to the warp threads (1). In this manner, the risk of injury to vehicle occupants during an accident, thus when a load is applied in the lengthwise direction of the belt, is reduced by virtue of the fact that the warp threads which are not able to extend in length relative to the weft threads starting from their shape looped around the weft threads (3) are aligned in a straight line in accordance with the applied load, so that a displacement force is exerted on the weft threads (3) and these are stretched to form a shape which is now looped around the warp threads (1), so that the warp threads are moved away from each other and the belt band width is increased.
