摘要： A thread take-up lever guard in a multi-needle sewing machine provided with a support disposed on the front surface of a head, a plurality of needle bars each having a needle attached to the lower end, and a plurality of thread take-up levers disposed to oppose the needle bars respectively and protruded from the support to be able to oscillate vertically. The thread take-up lever guard prevents a needle thread carried on a selected thread take-up lever from being caught by an adjacent thread take-up lever assuming a standing posture or is tangled with another needle thread carried on the standing thread take-up lever. The thread take-up lever guard comprises a separator disposed on the support such that every adjacent two thread take-up levers may be isolated from each other over a predetermined range of routes along which the take-up levers reciprocate. The separators are notched at positions where thread holes of the thread take-up levers are situated when the thread take-up levers are assuming predetermined standing postures.

摘要： A thread pull-out mechanism for sewing machines, which pulls out a predetermined amount of the needle thread from the thread supply spool by means of an operating member interlocked with the take-up lever of the sewing machine. A turn-over member for turning over the direction of supply of the needle thread is disposed in a threading path between the thread supply spool and the tension regulating mechanism of the sewing machine to check backward movement of the needle thread in pulling out the needle thread from the thread supply spool. During the thread take-up motion of the take-up lever of the thread take-up mechanism, the needle thread pulled out from the thread supply spool is slackened so that the turn-over member will not exert a significant resistance to the needle thread when the take-up lever pulls the needle thread previously pulled out from the thread supply spool. Thus, the needle thread is pulled by the take-up lever smoothly as the take-up lever is moved upward for thread take-up motion. When the needle thread is pulled out from the thread supply spool by the operating member, the resistance exerted on the needle thread by the tension regulating mechanism acts to increase the resistance of the turn-over member on the needle thread, so that the backward movement of the needle thread is checked effectively while the needle thread is being pulled out from the thread supply spool.

摘要： A thread take-up device comprising a loop tightening member adapted to reciprocate within a predetermined range limited by a thread slackening limit position where the loop tightening member is located when a thread loop is expanded to its maximum extent by a loop-seizing member, and a loop tightening limit position for tightening the thread loop; and a movable member adapted to reciprocate within a predetermined range limited by a stopping position defined within the range of reciprocation of the loop tightening member above the loop tightening limit position, and a position corresponding to the thread slackening limit position of the loop tightening member. The respective loci of the recess for engaging the needle thread of the loop tightening member, and the thread catch of the movable member overlap each other. The movable member is normally resiliently biased toward the stopping position by the substantially constant resilience of a resilient part thereof or by means of a separate resilient member, so that a predetermined length of the needle thread is secured during the threading operation irrespective of the stopping position of the loop tightening member, and the thread loop can be smoothly released from the loop-seizing member.

摘要： A thread take-up lever for a sewing machine is mounted on the sewing machine and can prevent a thread from disengaging from a thread-receiving portion. The thread take-up lever is disposed with a C-shaped thread-receiving portion having an open recess. Adjacent to the open recess is provided at least one positioning portion for fixing a thread-stopping member. One end of the thread-stopping member is fixed to the positioning portion, and an elastic stopping portion extends from the other end of the thread-stopping member. The stopping portion is formed with a free end abutted against an inner periphery of the open recess. The free end can be pushed away by the thread, and then the free end will automatically return to its original position immediately to abut against the open recess again, thus forming a structure to prevent the thread from disengaging from the thread-receiving portion.
