Abstract:
Dry-cleaning apparatus comprises washing and drying drum housings pivotably mounted in the frame of the apparatus about parallel axes extending transversely to the drums at the side of the base. The washing drum is so disposed above the drying drum that the axes of the drums are substantially in registry when swung through an acute angle. Between a discharge opening in the washing drum housing and an oppositely disposed filling opening in the drying drum housing, there are conveyor means which connect these two openings.
Abstract:
An industrial drycleaning system is provided for cleaning dirty oil-soaked work in a cleaning cycle which includes a batch wash using a drycleaning solvent such as perchlorethylene followed at least by one or more batch washes and/or a circulating wash through a filter. To conserve on the amount of solvent required succeeding washes are carried out using respectively cleaner solvents drawn from respective storage tanks of the system, and the solvents from these washes are stored for use in next preceding washes of a subsequent washing cycle. However, the initial batch wash, which removes the bulk of dirt and oil, leaves the solvent in such dirty condition it has to be distilled. A novel distillation apparatus of a tube type connected in the system has a capacity which enables the drycleaning solvent for the first batch to be distilled during the remainder of the cleaning cycle and, also, it has a facility for a continuing run through a whole day''s operation without need for pumping off oil and residue.
Abstract:
A dry cleaning machine for articles such as garments and the like, comprises: a rotary drum for containing the articles; means for feeding a solvent into the drum; means for draining a solvent out of the drum; a closed circuit for circulating air for drying the articles inside the drum, comprising at least one air movement fan, means for driving the fan, a heating device for heating the air to be fed into the drum, an air cooling device for condensing the solvent contained in the air flowing out of the drum.
Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses a control method of a multi-drum washing machine. The control method includes setting an oscillating program in the multi-drum washing machine. The oscillating program is a program in which oscillation generated by at least one washing device is used as an oscillating source to drive washing water and laundries in another at least one washing device to generate an interaction and achieve a washing effect. When at least one washing device oscillates, another at least one washing device and washing water and laundries in the washing device are driven to oscillate; and the vibration or jumping of the washing water in a drum is used to realize a function of soft washing of laundries and solve the problem of washing damage to soft laundries due to agitating type washing or beating type washing.
Abstract:
A dry cleaning solvent wash tank comprising independent circuits utilizing different solvents of different boiling points wherein the heat input for lower boiling solvent recovery by distillation is partly supplied from the latent heat of condensation of a higher boiling solvent and wherein part of the heat of condensation serves to preheat the air introduced into the drums of the washing and drying cycle of the lower boiling solvent to aid in drying the garments so treated.
