摘要： A track for a toy vehicle and such vehicle are provided. Each track segment has an upper layer and a spaced apart lower layer. A pivot pin is vertically disposed on a forwardly projecting tongue attached to one of the upper and lower layers, and a rearwardly disposed crossbar is adapted to receive the pivot pin of an adjacent segment. By repeating this pivotably angled structure with a number of segments, the curvature of the track can be altered to the taste and specifications of the user. A pair of flanges project from the top side and form a channel. A toy vehicle engageable with the track includes a retaining knob on its base that is forcibly disposable in the channel. When the retaining knob is forcibly disposed in the channel, the vehicle is retained on the track substantially regardless of angle of inclination or curvature of the track.

The mounting apparatus may include a steel frame which may be bolted to the chassis of the vehicle to extend laterally from the vehicle body to define a platform for supporting the load distributing member, and may include one or more releasable fasteners, by which the channel sections may be attached to the frame, with the ribs of the channel sections orientated downwards. A fascia may also be attached to a free end of the frame, and one or more mud flaps may be attached to either one or both front and rear facing ends of the frame.

摘要： A vehicle traction mat for aiding in traction of a vehicle drive tire on ice is provided. The traction mat comprises a sheet of expanded metal of generally rectangular shape and has a plurality of openings formed threrethrough. The sheet is adapted to be wedged between an iced surface and the drive tire along the leading edge of the drive tire and the sheet includes anti-skid projections on opposing surfaces of the sheet to engage the iced surface and the tire. The projections on one surface of the sheet are for penetrating the ice to retain the sheet in a non-sliding relationship with the ice and the projections on the opposite surface are for engagement with the tire providing traction thereto. In addition, a kit is provided having at least two traction mats for use with different degrees of surface conditions.
