    摘要: A bridge for the transfer of passengers between an elevated level of a terminal building has a vestibule attached to the terminal building. A first bridge unit extends from the vestibule to a rotunda assembly and is rotatably attached to the rotunda assembly and the vestibule. The rotunda assembly has an elevation system for changing the slope of the first bridge unit relative to the horizontal. A second bridge unit extends from the rotunda assembly and has a bubble attached at its outer end. The second bridge unit has telescoping sections and is movable vertically, telescopically and radially upon operation of a driving system connected at the outer end of the second bridge unit. A telescoping brow extends away from the second bridge unit. The slopes of the first bridge unit and the second bridge unit are controlled to be less than 12 percent with the bubble being movable over a wide range of locations and with a substantial range of vertical motion.

    摘要: A vibration resistant expansion joint is provided. The expansion joint includes a sustaining pedestal (1) which is formed from two L-shaped members (111 and 112). A plurality of shim assemblies (12), each containing a bifurcated tooth-like shim (121), are pivotally joined to the sustaining pedestal (1). Additionally provided is a foundation (3) formed of two L-shaped side members, each side member having a slide surface (33, 34) formed along a bottom edge thereof. A stepped bench unit (2), formed of a pair of benches, is slidably mounted on foundation (3).

    摘要: A movement limiting device of a bridge bearing is provided in which the horizontal strength in the longitudinal direction and the perpendicular direction of a bridge when limitation in movement is cancelled can be suitably separately set. A rubber bearing 64 is interposed between an upper shoe plate 60 and a lower shoe plate 62. The upper shoe plate 60 has a notch 72 formed in a side thereof. A side block 80 has two projections 82, 84, which are formed integrally with the side block 80 to project upwardly. The side block 80 has a plurality of bolt through holes 86, which are formed therein on both end sides of the projections 82 and 84, and another bolt through hole 86, which is also formed in a concave portion 83 between the projections 82 and 84. Bolts 78 fix the side block to the lower shoe plate 62. Upper portions of the projections 82, 84 are positioned in the notch 72 such that there are spaces between the projections 82, 84 and both ends 72a, 72b of the notch 72, respectively, just for allowing limited movement.

    摘要: Disclosed is a seismic load transmitting system based on impact mechanism for a multi-span continuous bridge. There are impact assemblies connected to a superstructure of the bridge for colliding with movable support piers according to a longitudinal displacement of the superstructure of the bridge caused by a seismic load. The seismic load is transmitted from the superstructure of the bridge to the movable support piers. These are impact receiving assemblies installed in the movable support piers for receiving an impact force generated when the movable support piers become collided with the impact assemblies and transmitting the seismic load transferred from the superstructure of the bridge through the impact assemblies to the movable support piers. The seismic load generated in the superstructure of the bridge is transmitted not only to the fixed support piers but also to the moving support piers due to the collision between the impact assemblies and the impact receiving assemblies. The contact plate of the impact receiving assembly has a curved surface of a predetermined curvature.
