    摘要: A method of erecting a span between two points is disclosed which comprises the steps of securing an elongated, flexible sheath to the two points; inflating the tubular sheath with a gaseous fluid to form an arched tubular span; maintaining inflation of the arched tubular span to effect a constant pressure differential across the sheath; further increasing the upward force gradient on the sheath by support apparatus; utilizing the arched tubular span as support for a plurality of hollow aluminum troughs; anchoring the troughs at the two end points to erect a permanent load-bearing span between the two end points; and, deflating and removing the tubular sheath.

    摘要: Proposed is a method for the erection of structures, such as bridges, that display pre-fabricated concrete beams, according to which the individual pre-fabricated beams are produced, on the spot, on a feed rigging within the corresponding work area of the structure, in a heated and laterally tiltable form. After removal from the form, the thusly produced pre-fabricated beams are transferred sidewardly into their final position by means of gantry cranes. During concretizing of the individual pre-fabricated beams, flexure of the feed rigging carrying the form is equalized in continuous fashion, in correspondence with the progressing, concretizing process, by transfer pumping of ballast liquid. Correspondingly with progression of construction, the feed rigging displaying a freely suspended cantilever is transferred in progressive fashion onto support girders of the structure that have been prepared beforehand, just like the gantry cranes, which can be pretransported from the support girders supporting it to the next support girders. Also capable of being equalized are different inclinations of the support girders, such as curvatures in the ground plane of the structure, for example the access to bridges.

    摘要: For use in establishing the prescribed elevation difference between an adjustably movable deck member and a relatively stationary support member, an elevation gauge comprising a case, a float disposed in the case and guided for vertical movement, a lead screw for moving the float, a scale carried by the float to extend vertically upwardly and to cooperate with an indicator pointer carried by the case to indicated lower selected vertical position of the float, a second float guided for vertical movement on the case, and a signal device for providing an output when the second float is in a preselected elevational position relative to the first float. The signal device cooperates between the floats, and the case is adapted to rest on one of the members while the said second float is adapted to rest on the other of said members. A plurality of bolt assemblies is provided for adjustably supporting the deck member on the support member. Each bolt assembly comprises a vertically extending bolt, a hanger for mounting on the support member, with the upper end of the bolt penetrating through the hanger and being rotatable relative to the hanger. A first nut threadedly engages the upper end of the bolt and restrains the bolt against movement downwardly relative to the hanger. A second nut threadedly engages the bolt and supports the deck member, the second nut being prevented from rotating when the bolt rotates. The first nut and the upper end of the bolt are proportioned and designed to be engaged by a tool and rotated together relative to the hanger to raise and lower the deck member to the prescribed height determined by the said gauge.
