摘要： The present invention provides a disposal splash guard that enables water flowing into the disposal splash guard to be directed through peripheral openings in the disposal splash guard. The disposal splash guard comprises a body and a baffle. A size of the peripheral openings is operable to direct water flowing into the disposal splash guard through the peripheral openings in the baffle. At least one of a shape of the body and a shape of the baffle is operable to direct water flowing into the disposal splash guard through the peripheral openings in the baffle. At least one of a size of the peripheral openings, a shape of the body, and a shape of the baffle is operable to direct at least ten percent of water flowing into the disposal splash guard through the peripheral openings in the baffle.

摘要： A lavatory system includes a basin having a water collecting area having a back wall, a bottom wall, and a front wall. The back wall of the water collecting area is proximate the wall on which the lavatory system is mounted. Further, an opening may extend through the front wall. The lavatory system also includes a hand dryer having a blower located below the water collecting area and a first plenum having an input and an output. The input is connected to the blower to receive a first air flow from the blower, and the output is aligned with the opening in the front wall of the water collecting area to deliver the first air flow from the front wall over the water collecting area.

摘要： An apparatus for use in cooperation with a basin, such as a basin of a hopper sink, that protects an operator from splashing fluids and particulates. The apparatus includes a protective shield, structure for mounting the shield to the basin, and structure for attaching the shield to the basin mounting structure. The attaching structure includes a resilient material which serves to bias the shield outwardly toward the operator, when pressed inward by the operator, allowing the operator to work in the basin with minimal constraints.
