摘要： An elongated channel protector has an end wall that precludes axial displacement of the protector along an elongated rail car plug door operating handle in one direction. Angle shaped members extend from the protector laterally for engaging a cover appurtenance on the door for precluding axial displacement of the protector in the opposite direction. A pair of legs depend from the protector side walls and have aligned holes for receiving a bolt seal. Tubular elements surround the holes to protect the seal head and locking body. The seal is seated beneath the handle which is covered by the protector locking the protector to the handle.

摘要： A locking system comprises a cabinet having unframed swinging glass doors and a hasp for securing the doors in the closed position. The hasp comprises a base plate, a staple plate hingedly secured to the base plate and an L-shaped back plate having a latch staple. A first leg of the back plate and the base plate are mounted to the floor of the cabinet in a juxtaposed position with the back plate positioned on top of the base plate so that the upstanding leg of the back plate acts as a door stop when the doors are closed with the latch staple protruding therebetween. When locking the cabinet, the staple plate is swung about its hinge so as to be positioned parallel to the second leg of the back plate with the latch staple extending through an elongated slot in the staple plate and a padlock is passed through the latch staple to lock the cabinet doors.

摘要： A portable door lock comprises a jam plate connected through a hinge to a latch plate through a hinge that allows the latch plate to swing from a lock position alongside a door to an unlock position alongside a door jam when the portable door lock is installed in a door jam recess between a door and a door jam so the lock can remain installed yet allow the door to be opened for normal use or locked. A jam plate tongue extends orthogonally from the jam plate adjacent a jam plate hole sized to receive a door latch striker therethrough. Preferably two opposing upper and lower hooks opening in opposite directions swivel on the latch plate on a pivot pin in a plane parallel to the latch plate one hook applicable for a right-hinged door, the other for a left-hinged door. The hooks also may wrap and hook a doorknob shank from above and below. In an alternate embodiment, the hooks may comprise a rigid hook plate with the first and second hooks opening in opposite direction, one useful for left-hinged doors, the other for right-hinged doors.

The latch slide comprises a vertical section having a first end and a second end and an upper edge, a notch at the first end and, a tang extending from the second end, a horizontal section extending generally perpendicularly from at least a portion of the upper edge, the horizontal section having at least one fourth slot defined therein, an angled portion extending from one edge of the and, a pull tab extending from the extending angled portion such that the latch can slidingly engage the latch cover and reciprocatingly slide between a tang retracted position and a tang extended position.

摘要： A sliding doors lock hinge for maintaining a pair of sliding doors together at their overlapping ends that includes first and second door end mounts that are hinge connected and formed to fit over the opposing door ends and the second door end mount includes a hinged hasp strap that has a slot therein to pass over a tab that is secured to an outer face of a forward door frame end. The tab can be fix or is pivot mounted to the frame face and includes a hole therethrough for receiving an end of a padlock shackle fitted therethrough and locked in the padlock body. The first door end mount is formed from a section of channel to fit over an inner door frame end and has a side wall that is common with the second door end mount, and the edge of which common side is hinge connected to a nose end plate to fit over a door frame end that, in turn, is hinge connected, at its opposite end, to the end of the hasp strap, and which end plate and hasp strap preferrably include sections of pading material secured to their door end engaging surfaces.
