Abstract: Ladders, feet for ladders and related methods are described herein. In one embodiment, a ladder is provided that includes, a first rail and a second rail, a plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first rail and the second rail, a first foot coupled with the first rail. The first foot includes a lower tread portion, a first wall is coupled with the lower tread portion and positioned adjacent a first surface of the first rail. A first boss is positioned against a second surface of the first rail. A first fastener extends through the first wall, through the first surface and second surface of the rail, and into the first boss.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed that comprises a hitch connector including a first end portion configured to be removably attached to a vehicle hitch, and a second end portion, and a ladder support including a central portion, an extension portion attached to the second end portion of the hitch connector, and first and second arms extending outwardly from the central portion. The first arm has an outer end portion with a first sleeve-shaped ladder bracket formed thereon, and the second arm has an outer end portion with a second sleeve-shaped ladder bracket formed thereon. The first and second ladder brackets are configured to receive lower leg portions of a ladder to position the ladder to extend upwardly and rearwardly at an angle in the range of 6 degrees to 13 degrees relative to a vertical plane when the hitch connector is attached to a vehicle hitch. In embodiments, the apparatus is configured to support a load of at least 300 pounds. Corresponding systems and methods also are disclosed.

Abstract: A ladder lateral stabilizer accessory is provided, which includes a pair of stabilizing members, one for each side of a ladder. Each stabilizing member is attached to the side runners of a ladder by way of filleted rod running through the rungs such that they connect the pair of stabilizing members together from across the width of the ladder. Once installed, the upper part of the pair of stabilizing members which is hingedly attached to the lower part of the stabilizing members. Each movable member of the stabilizing members pivots downwardly so as to make contact with the ground, including uneven ground. When not in use, the upper parts are releasably attached to the ladder runners by way of wing nuts.

Abstract: A ladder stabilizer where respective ladder rails 12 and 13 pass through rail clamp sections 14 and 15 so that the feet 16 and 17 of the ladder engage the ground. The stabilizer has feet 18 and 19 which also engage the ground. These are at the end of a rail providing respective outriggers 20 and 21 so that the stabilizing forces and moments are across the bottom of the ladder. Clamps make the whole stabilizer and ladder rigid. Rails 12 and 13 are clamped in the clamp sections 14 and 15 which are in turn clamped along the outriggers, the feet are also clamped in height adjustable position. Hand operable screw clamps 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 permit adjustment so that the legs and rails and clamp sections may be positioned to best stabilize the ladder 11.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a device that allows a user to enter and exit a bathtub or other apparatus with a relatively high sidewall safely and easily. Advantageously, the first side can be rotated up and above the second side using hinges or any other rotatable element.
