    摘要: The present invention provides an anti-flail cup(18) having a flange(20) attachable to an end of a shaft(10). The flange(20) has a perimeter and a face. A shoulder(22) extends from the perimeter of the flange(20) and generally perpendicularly to the face of the flange(20). The shoulder(22) of the anti-flail cup(18) surrounds a coupling(12) between two shafts(10) and retains the shaft(10) ends if the coupling(12) fails.

    摘要: A coupling for coupling first and second shafts is described. The coupling comprises an annular unit including a plurality of annular metal plates which are put on one another, a first group of bolt bores formed through the annular unit, a second group of bolt bores formed through the annular unit, a first group of bolts and nuts which are incorporated with the first group of bolt bores to fix the annular metal plates, a second group of bolts and nuts which are incorporated with the second group of bolt bores to fix the annular metal plates, a first yoke which connects the first shaft to the first group of bolts and nuts, and a second yoke which connects the second shaft to the second group of bolts and nuts. A stopper structure is further provided by which every mutually contacting portions of the annular metal plates are suppressed from making a relative displacement therebetween.

    摘要: An annular disk for flexible shaft couplings is described, whose two coupling halves each exhibiting a connection flange are connected to each other via a packet of such annular disks in a torsionally rigid manner, but in such a way as to enable their axial and angular movement. The annular disk has four attachment holes uniformly distributed on a shared hole circle, wherein the section is tapered between two adjacent attachment holes. The annular disk according to the invention satisfies the following size ratios: Dt/D1=10 to 12, D2/Dt=1.1 to 1.2, Dt/B1=9 to 16, and B2/Dt=0.88 to 0.93, wherein Dt is the diameter of the hole circle, D1 is the diameter of the respective attachment hole, D2 is the largest outside diameter of the annular disk, B1 is the width of the narrowest part of the annular disk section between two consecutive attachment holes, and B2 is the width of the annular disk outer contour. The annular disk according to the invention makes it possible to offset relatively large dislocations.
