    摘要: A pulley device for supporting a belt of chain tensioning idler or a runner roller includes a bearing having an outer ring mounted for rotation relative to a coaxial inner ring and at least one pulley part that is C-shaped in cross section. The pulley part has an inner portion with a frustoconical inner surface mounted on an outer cylindrical surface of the outer ring, an outer cylindrical portion having an outer cylindrical surface configured to support a belt or a chain, and an intermediate portion extending radially inward from the cylindrical outer portion to the inner portion. The pulley part is integral and has an open end on an axial side opposite the intermediate portion. The frustoconical surface extends inwardly towards the outer ring, and the inner surface is force fitted onto the outer cylindrical surface of the outer ring.

    摘要: A sprocket of the type typically used for driving a plastic conveyor belt is split through the drive shaft hole at its center, so that the sprocket can be assembled over a drive shaft without disrupting the conveyor assembly. Two sections which form the drive shaft preferably are identical, and may be machined from high molecular weight polyethylene. In a preferred embodiment the two sections are assembled together by interlocking features shaped as jigsaw puzzle pieces. The two sections are placed against the drive shaft and are moved together in the axial direction of the drive shaft, thus sliding the sections together. One or more fasteners may be provided at easily accessed locations to permit the two sections from sliding apart.

    摘要: A split sprocket assembly. The sprocket assembly does not require additional separate fasteners and extends substantially parallel to the axis of the drive shaft. Further, the sprocket assembly includes first and second sprocket sections having integrally formed connecting device to connect the sprocket members about the shaft. The connecting device preferably includes a projection formed on one sprocket section and a complementary recess formed on the other sprocket section. The geometry of the projection and the recess is preferably that of a dove-tail shape. The connecting device further includes a device for preventing axial movement of the sprocket sections relative to one another. In one embodiment, the sprocket assembly does not require any additional separate fasteners at all, and the preventing device includes locking members to provide a cylindrical snap fit. In an alternative embodiment, the preventing device includes fasteners extending in a direction perpendicular to a plane including the axis of the shaft and through both sprocket members.
