    摘要: The joint comprises two components to be coupled together, namely a male component and a female component joined to respective pipes. These two components are coupled together by a third component which comprises: an annular element (21) which embraces the male component and engages it in a transverse plane, and at least two coupling means (30, 30null) for hooking the female component, each comprising two parallel hooking arms (31) in the form of plates which lie in planes parallel to the axial plane (P) passing through the longitudinal centre line of the coupling means (30, 30null). In addition there is provided a pair of flanges (41) for each coupling means (30, 30null) in the form of plates firmly joined to the annular element (21) and lying in planes parallel to the planes defined by the hooking arms (31), said pair carrying a transverse pin (42) for securing the hooking arms (31) in an axial direction. Means are also provided for applying axial traction to the coupling means (30, 30null) in order to firmly join the male and female components together. According to the invention, said flanges (41) are applied on the outside of the outer faces of the hooking arms (31). The ball-and-socket joint obtained in this manner, and in particular its third component, is able to better support the pressure, especially if relatively high, to which the pipe is subjected.

The annular bead has a cross section with two oblique flanks, the conically widened rim of the pipe connecting piece resting on the flank facing the pipe connecting piece, and the connecting member acting on the flank facing away.

    摘要: A threaded pipe flange and piping system utilizing the same. The threaded pipe flange includes a base portion having a predetermined shape and at least two openings dimensioned to accept at least two mounting bolts. A shoulder portion extends from, and is integral to, the base portion and includes at least two substantially flat gripping surfaces that allow the flange to be attached using an open end wrench, adjustable wrench or pipe wrench. A threaded opening extends through the base portion and the shoulder portion and is sized to mate with the threaded pipe to which the flange is to be attached. In operation, the pipe flange is attached to the predetermined threaded pipe by aligning the threaded opening with the predetermined threaded pipe, gripping the gripping surfaces of the shoulder portion, and rotating the pipe flange until the flange is tight. The piping system includes at least one threaded pipe, a pipe flange having a plurality of gripping surfaces, a pair of mounting bolts and a circulator or other pump.
