Abstract:
In a grommet for a vehicle floor cover, receptacles formed in a generally cylindrical inner surface of a female tubular body making up part of one grommet portion receive protrusions formed on a generally cylindrical outer surface of a male tubular body making up part of a second grommet portion.
Abstract:
A clamp ring and process for manufacturing a clamp ring to effectively reduce, if not eliminate, waste scrap from the manufacturing process. The clamp ring and process for manufacturing the same, results in clamp ring having a seam formed by a metal joining technique such as welding, brazing, bolting, soldering, and clinching.
Abstract:
A molded reservoir support structure coupling may include an anchor and a support structure. The anchor may have one or more first flange(s) projecting generally laterally from a side wall of the anchor. The support structure may have one or more second flange(s) projecting generally laterally therefrom. When interconnected, surface-to-surface confrontation between the first flange(s) and the second flange(s) inhibits longitudinal separation of the anchor and the support structure.
Abstract:
An apparatus for joining high pressure ducts has a first and second bar secured to adjacent to be joined ducts. A coupling mechanism having a U-shape is frictionally engaged onto the first and second bar. An end of the coupling mechanism frictionally engages the surface of the bar members so that the coupling mechanism is slidably removably connected to the first and second bars.
Abstract:
A floating cover roof for a storage tank has a frame assembly and multiple floating units. The frame assembly has a holding frame and an outer rim. The holding frame has multiple longitudinal beams and transverse beams. Each longitudinal beam has a connecting seat, a first holding segment and a second holding segment. Two of the transverse beams are connected to two adjacent longitudinal beams to form a locating area between the beams. The floating units are mounted in the locating areas of the frame assembly, are connected to the beams of the holding frame and each has an outer casing and a body. The outer casing is mounted in one of the locating areas of the holding frame, is connected to the adjacent beams and has a casing body and a top board. The body is mounted in the outer casing between the casing body and the top board.

In a grommet for a vehicle floor cover, receptacles formed in a generally cylindrical inner surface of a female tubular body making up part of one grommet portion receive protrusions formed on a generally cylindrical outer surface of a male tubular body making up part of a second grommet portion. The bottom grommet portion may have chamfered gussets formed adjacent a bottom retention flange in order to accommodate vehicle floor mats or trays of different thicknesses. Stud holes created in respective ones of the grommets receive studs of intentionally different shape or orientation, thereby militating against installation of the floor cover upside down.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an assembly of a fixed pane on a car body flange and to a fastening clip for mounting the fixed pane which has a molding arranged on the pane circumferential edge and wherein on the molding at least one retaining member facing towards the body flange is provided for accommodating said fastening clip before the fastening clip for mounting the pane to the body flange is fixed in an insertion through-hole of the body flange in an automatically locking manner.

Abstract:
An elevator car consists of a floor, side walls, a back wall and a roof which are each constructed in a modular manner from a plurality of panels and which can be held together by means of connecting elements. The floor is formed from, in total, eight floor panels. The threshold is connected with the floor panels. The side walls each consist of ten wall panels. The back wall consists of eight wall panels and the roof consists of six roof panels. On site, the elevator car can be constructed in a short assembly time by means of plug connections and with a few screw connections. The panel mode of construction enables a low-volume transport of the elevator car to the construction site directly from the punching and changing machine.
