Abstract: In some implementations, an integrated lighting device includes a housing that includes a lighting unit, a power supply, an antenna, and a controller. A high-voltage power cable provides high-voltage power from a high-voltage power source to the integrated lighting device. The power supply receives the high-voltage power and converts the high-voltage power into low-voltage power. The controller receives low-voltage power from the power supply, provides the low-voltage power to the lighting unit, receives control signals from the antenna that have been wirelessly received from a remote control source, and based on the control signals, provides corresponding lighting control commands to the lighting unit. The lighting unit generates lighting effects based on the lighting control commands provided by the controller, using the low-voltage power provided by the controller.

Abstract: A LED-based lighting fixture for Controlled Environment Horticulture (CEH) includes a module having an inspection light system to facilitate inspection of one or more plants. The inspection light system may emit inspection light to illuminate the plants during the plants' night cycle where the intensity, wavelength, and/or duration of the inspection light may be adjusted to avoid disrupting the plants' night cycle. The lighting fixture provides a mechanical interface to mount the module and an electrical interface to provide electrical power and data communication with the module. The inspection light system may be communicatively coupled to a proximity sensor that activates or deactivates the inspection light system depending on the presence of a grower near the lighting fixture. Additionally, the modules may be deployed in arrays of lighting fixtures and used to convey additional information (notifications, environmental data) to the grower by emitting light at different intensities and/or wavelengths.

Abstract: A modular mud-in channel lighting system includes a modular channel and a modular connection box that is removably attached to the modular channel itself. Because the modular connection box is removably attached to the modular channel, a modular mud-in channel lighting system enables the creative installation of lighting solutions in a manner that is not constrained by framing or the location of pre-existing junction boxes. Further, a modular mud-in channel lighting system may be disposed at creative angles that are not limited to locations near to pre-existing junction boxes. As such, a modular mud-in channel lighting system is suitable for new construction as well as retrofits and remodels of existing construction and enables the installation of creative lighting solutions at aesthetic angles that are not possible with the limitations of conventional lighting solutions.

Abstract: A water-proof modularized lighting device includes a light source module and a frame. The light source module includes a housing and two end caps disposed at the two ends thereof respectively. Each end cap includes a base having an accommodating space and two connecting sheets fixed at the bottom thereof. The frame includes two electrical connecting modules. Each electrical connecting module includes an installation base and two clamping structures. The installation base has an installation space, a central drainage channel and two lateral drainage channels. The clamping structures are disposed at the bottom of the installation space. The central drainage channel and the lateral drainage channels surround the installation space. The end caps are detachably installed at the electrical connecting modules respectively, such that the connecting sheets of each end cap are inserted into the clamping structures of the electrical connecting module corresponding thereto.

Abstract: A luminaire with a tool-less assembly feature that enhances ease of installation and serviceability in the field. The luminaire's housing defines a compartment accessible via a window adjacent a pair of opposed shoulders. The luminaire further includes a lighting module dimensioned to be received and retained in the window in an interference fit with the shoulders. The lighting module may include an LED module/light guide plate and/or an LED refractor assembly/LED gear tray. A resilient member is supported on the housing in position to abut the lighting module and deflect during insertion of the lighting module through the window, and to at least partially resile to maintain the lighting module against the shoulders in an operative position on the housing. Further, the resilient member is positioned to deflect during removal and to resile to tilt or otherwise assist in ejecting the lighting module from the housing during tool-less disassembly.
