In order for the vertical energy component that occurs when the weapon is elevated to be substantially compensated without any reactive influence on the weapon, a recoil brake (7,7') is provided as the connection between the gun barrel (4) and the front armor (3) and the trunnions (6) of the gun barrel cradle tube (5) are mounted within the turret housing (2).

    摘要： A specialized recoil absorber mounted to a gun dampens and absorbs the recoil force of a gun during the firing thereof. The recoil absorber includes a closed, fluid filled cylinder having a first end and a second end. A piston closely fits within the cylinder and slides therein along the cylinders longitudinal axis and a spring is compressed between the piston and the first end. The cylinder defines channels at an outer diametrical surface thereof, the channels having a helical twist centered on the longitudinal axis, whereby the piston rotates as it translates.

    摘要： An attachment is provided for operably connecting a shotgun to a weapons station. The shotgun includes a trigger and a butt stock. The weapons station can accommodate one of a Mk19 grenade launcher, an M2 .50 cal machine gun and an M240G machine gun. The attachment includes a trigger module, a pump grip adapter, and a gun frame. The module actuates the trigger and includes an actuator for pulling the trigger and an adapter for engaging the butt stock. The pump grip adapter includes slots for traveling pins on the weapons station to absorb recoil. The gun frame enables installation of the shotgun therein and mounts the trigger module and the adapter to the weapon station.

    摘要： A recoil-mechanism for machine guns with a hydraulic counterrecoil brake, wherein the recoil energy for effecting the weapon advance is stored and with a hydraulic braking piston equipped with throttle valves, which comprises a cylinder connected with reciprocating parts of the weapon and receiving a hydraulic braking piston. A housing has the cylinder disposed therein for longitudinal displacement and receiving the recoil-mechanism, and is connected with immovable parts of the weapon and supported on both sides by resilient abutments. Additional abutment means are effective upon the braking piston. The abutment means set the piston forwardly during the return stroke of the cylinder relatively to the latter, such, that the piston rod, formed as a ram and extending out from the end wall of the cylinder, is supportable during the forward stroke of the forward resilient abutment, before the cylinder itself has reached its initial position.
