摘要： A method for protecting a rifle and stabilizing the rifle when shooting is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method includes providing a strap and connecting a first end of the strap to a backpack. A second end of the strap is connected to a rifle. A length of the strap is adjusted such that when a user pulls the rifle over the shoulder from the backpack and holds the rifle in a shooting position, the strap slides over the user's shoulder from the backpack to the rifle and reduces a weight of the rifle in the user's arms when the rifle is held in the shooting position. In certain embodiments, the length of the strap is adjusted to maintain the rifle substantially level when in the shooting position.

摘要： A firearm strap buckle assembly includes an inlet end portion and an outlet end portion. A main tensioner bar is medially located within the buckle assembly and having upward facing surface of a first width and a downward facing surface of a second width greater than the first width. A first supporting tensioner bar is located between the inlet end and the main tensioner bar. A second supporting tensioner bar is located between the main tensioner bar and the outlet end. A first strap path is defined where the strap is positioned downwardly of the main tensioner bar. A second strap path is defined where the strap is positioned upwardly of the main tensioner bar. Frictional forces imparted to the strap when arranged within the first strap path are greater than frictional forces imparted to the strap when arranged within the second path strap.

摘要： A method for securing an accessory to a firearm includes inserting a lug and a nut into an entry opening positioned between first and second opposite ends of a slot formed in a wall of the firearm. The lug restricts the nut from rotating about an axis of a threaded member with which the nut is in threaded engagement. The slot has a first width, the entry opening has a second width that is greater than the first width, and the nut has a major dimension that is larger than the first width and smaller than the second width. The method also includes sliding the lug and nut in the slot in a sliding direction toward the first end or the second end, and rotating the threaded member with respect to the nut to clamp the wall between a surface of the nut and a surface of the accessory.

摘要： The present invention is a rifle sling for use with a rifle having butt and barrel portions. The rifle sling comprises a one-piece leather strap comprising a central longitudinal axis, a fixed end portion, and a sliding end portion. The sliding end portion comprises a slit that is parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the strap. The sliding end portion being folded to form first and twisted second loops with the first loop passing thru the second loop to form a sliding knot. The fixed end portion comprises first and second slits parallel to the central longitudinal axis and aligned with each other. The fixed end portion being folded to form a loop that is passed thru the first and second slits to form a fixed knot. Unlike conventional rifle slings, the rifle sling of the present invention does not employ any hardware.

摘要： This disclosure describes a firearm stock or arm brace with an adjustable length of pull. The stock or arm brace can include a body and lower stock, where the body includes a buffer tube receiving aperture and the lower stock includes a hollow cavity with a plunger and two concentric springs therein. One or more buttons can be affixed to sides of the plunger in the hollow cavity that can be used to depress the plunger against the force of one or both of the springs. One of the two springs may be shorter than the other and have a greater spring constant than the longer spring. Depressing the plunger against the taller spring may allow a user to adjust the length of pull while greater pressure and engagement of the second spring allows the stock or arm brace to be removed from a buffer tube or receiver extension.

In each instance, the sling includes a main strap adapted to being supported upon a shoulder of a wearer.
