摘要： An apparatus for aiming a device such as a gun or a camera at a target without holding the device near the user's face. The apparatus has two sections: a viewer and an irradiator. The irradiator is rigidly attached to the device to be aimed, and projects towards the viewer an indication of the direction in which the device is aimed. The viewer includes an eyeport, through which the user observes the target, and a mechanism for projecting on the eyeport an indication of the deviation from the target of the aim of the device to be aimed. Preferably, the irradiator includes two light sources collinear with the aiming axis of the device to be aimed, and the viewer mechanism is based on planar optics.

摘要： A removable and remountable gun sight comprising a point light viewable through an elongated tubular structure having a anti-reflective coating along the inner surface thereof, and a captive removable low illumination light source, preferably a chemical illuminating capsule, disposed to provide the point light source with illumination in low ambient or darkness. The gun sight is retained by a substantially C-shaped clip which engages the gun barrel, ventilation rib or other available gun portion along a length which requires the shooter to elevate one end apart from the gun portion to effect removal from the gun. Alternate embodiments include ambient light energized luminous rod elements interposed between the captive light source and the distal end of the elongated tubular structure, which provides continuous illumination of the point source to the shooter as he moves from high ambient light to low ambience or darkness.

摘要： A sight having a foresight includes a main body that has an internal bore therethrough such that the main body can receive the barrel of a firearm. A spring-biased body located in the main body includes at least a portion thereof biased towards the internal bore of the main body so that it can engage an indentation formed on the barrel of the fire to secure the foresight on the barrel. The sight may also include a rearsight which may be releasable fixed to the barrel.
