摘要： A port replicator includes upper and lower cases including a plurality of ports. An inclined supporting surface is formed with a connector for electrical connection with a computer at a front top surface of the cases. An actuating lever is provided at one side of the cases and receives an actuating force from a user. A link mechanism is provided within the cases. A driving plate is provided within the cases and includes at least one pair of cam slots and push cams and linearly moves in response to the actuating force transmitted via the link mechanism. A pair of catching hooks are guided along the cam slots and include a catching protrusion exposed from the top surface of the cases capable of catching a groove formed on a bottom surface of the computer. Push protrusions are guided by the push cams and selectively protrude beyond the top surface of the cases, thereby pushing up the bottom surface of the computer when the catching hooks are unfastened from the computer.

摘要： Provided is a magnetic disk loading apparatus making it easy to perform the work of replacing a magnetic disk unit or any other component with a new one or the work of maintaining or inspecting it, and accommodating a larger number of magnetic disk units. A magnetic disk loading apparatus comprises magnetic disk units stored in a disk enclosure, and a cable container located in a place within the disk enclosure other than the place where the magnetic disk unit is located. The magnetic disk loading apparatus is designed so that the disk enclosure can be inserted into or pulled out of the magnetic disk loading apparatus from the front side of the magnetic disk loading apparatus. Cables contained in the cable container are coupled to the magnetic disk unit, and encased in a cable guide that can be bent or stretched along with the insertion or the pulling-out of the disk enclosure.

The backplane may allow the disk drives to be arranged in multiple columns and rows such that the disk drives are generally parallel to each other. Such an arrangement affords excellent airflow around the disk drives and greatly simplifies servicing of the disk array.

The lid defines a recessed portion at one corner thereof and a hook is formed at the recessed portion. The latch includes a base through which the latch mounted on the main body, an end portion capable of moving in a horizontal direction relative to the base. When the lid is in a closed position, the hook engages the end portion. When the lid is in an open position, the hook exits from the end portion.
