    摘要: Hard disk drives of the invention are wrapped in laminate for enhanced sealing of the hard disk drive. Laminate-wrapped hard disk drives of the invention comprise: an enclosed hard disk drive housing comprising a base and a cover enclosed around internal components for facilitating reading and recording of data at a desired location on at least one disk contained within the housing; and a laminate wrapped around the enclosed housing in an at least partially overlapping manner to form the laminate-wrapped hard disk drive and prevent undesired migration therethrough such that a sealed environment exists within the laminate-wrapped hard disk drive, wherein the laminate comprises a barrier layer and an adhesive layer for adherence of the laminate to the enclosed housing.

The HDD carrier includes a handle pivotably attached to the bracket with a guide pin for inserting into the vertical receiving groove and configured to alternate between a loading position and a locked position.

    摘要: Provided is a vibration suppression mechanism for an electronic device, which efficiently absorbs vibrations that adversely affect operation of the electronic device. The vibration suppression mechanism for the electronic device includes a holding unit that is constructed such that a vibration absorbing member is used at a contacting portion on a first surface of a holding member and a contact member protruding from a second surface of the holding member which is opposite to the first surface is held by the vibration absorbing member, the holding unit supporting the electronic device via the vibration absorbing member used at the contacting portion on the first surface or the contact member protruding from the second surface, and a housing for holding the holding unit in a mounted state under a state in which the contact member protruding from the second surface or the vibration absorbing member used at the contacting portion on the first surface abuts against a holding structure.

    摘要: A base member of a disk drive apparatus includes a window portion, a first groove, and a communicating groove. The window portion passes through a bottom plate portion of the base member in an axial direction. The first groove is defined in an upper surface of the bottom plate portion around the window portion. A connector includes a board portion and an electrode terminal on a lower surface of the board portion. The board portion is on the upper surface of the bottom plate portion to cover the window portion, the first groove, and a portion of the communicating groove. The communicating groove extends from the first groove up to a position outside of an outer circumferential portion of the connector. An adhesive layer is between the upper surface of the bottom plate portion and the lower surface of the board portion.
