    摘要: A retractable magnifier includes a housing and a lens assembly having a lens carried in a frame. The lens assembly is movable in the housing between a retracted position and an extended position. The housing is provided with push-buttons capable of releasing the lens assembly from the retracted position. A longitudinal rack is formed in the housing. A pinion meshes the rack and has a spindle rotatably connected to the frame. The pinion further includes a helical torsion spring mounted around the spindle and placed in damping oil for urging the pinion in such a direction that the frame may be moved, in a gentle manner, to the extended position. A rocker provided with an electric prefocus lamp is pivotally connected to the housing, and adapted to be pivoted outward at a predetermined angle with the housing when the lens assembly is in the extended position. A switch is formed on the housing for turning on/off the lamp.

    摘要: A paper-separating plate is adapted for a paper-separating mechanism having a paper-separating roller. The paper-separating plate placed around a side of the paper-separating roller comprises a main body and a cushion. The main body has a surface and a plurality of grooves and the grooves are positioned on the surface. The cushion is positioned on the surface of the main body and covers the grooves. The cushion positioned over the partial grooves is elastically pressed onto the paper-separating roller. The grooves are linear and the direction of extending the linear grooves is substantially parallel with the axis of the paper-separating roller, the linear grooves neighboring one another or each other. Besides, the cushion is made of flexible material and the main body is made of rigid material.

    摘要: Improved binoculars are provided for viewing objects at a distance and for selectively recording a digital image of the objects. The binoculars include first and second monoculars each with an optical lightpath constructed to deliver an image of the object to one eye of the observer. Included within one of the monoculars is a beamsplitter designed to allow a portion of the light in the first optical lightpath to pass to the eye of the observer and to reflect a second portion of the light. The reflected portion of the light is directed to a digital image sensor and recording device. The other monocular includes compensating optics, such as a second beamsplitter, to alter the image to correct for the refraction and decrease in light intensity caused by the beamsplitter in the first light path. The second monocular does not include an image sensor and does not include an image recording device.

    摘要: A hand-held, portable apparatus has been disclosed to facilitate the viewing of an object by the human eye. The apparatus provides an electronic camera unit disposed on a holder mechanism and in electrical communication with an image processor module to capture the image of an object and format the image for display on a display device also disposed on the holder mechanism. At least one user-interfaced control mechanism is also disposed on the holder mechanism and in electrical communication with the image processor module for controlling the operations of the module to regulate display of the image by the display device. In this way the viewing of an object by the human eye is facilitated by the use of camera and the image enhancing features of the image processor module.
