    摘要: In an electronic alarm timepiece having an alarm accordance circuit for producing an alarm signal at a preset time in accordance with a time stored in a time memory circuit, an electromechanical acoustic transducer is provided having at least two mechanical resonant frequencies. One of the resonant frequencies is in the audible range and one of the resonant frequencies is in the ultrasonic range. The transducer is actuatable to produce an acoustic alarm in the audible range in response to the alarm signal and is selectively actuated to produce an acoustic output in the ultrasonic range for controlling devices external of the timepiece.

    摘要: In a battery powered alarm clock, an alarm switching device comprises at least one detecting wheel whose phase is set in accordance with the desired alarm time, at least one detecting switch which is closed when the phase of the time wheel of the clock corresponds to that of the detecting wheel and a printed circuit board having alarm circuitry mounted thereon with at least one land for connecting the alarm circuitry to one pole of the battery. The alarm switching device construction provides solderless connection by at least two battery contact plates for contacting the two poles of the battery. One of the plates provides three electrical contacts including a first contact with one pole of the battery, a second contact with the land on the printed circuit board and a third contact with the detecting switch, whereby the assembly and construction of the clock is greatly simplified.

    摘要: A high accuracy timer actuating mechanism in a leaf type digital clock having a timer, a manually actuatable timer setting drum and a rotating clutch cam cooperating therewith so as to actuate a clutch lever at a set time manually set in the timer setting drum so that a switch for actuating the timer is closed by the actuation of the clutch lever. The clutch lever is provided with an arresting lug which is releasably arrested by an ON-OFF lever so that, when the clutch lever is arrested by the ON-OFF lever, the switch is held opened so as to render the timer to be inoperative. An actuating lever cooperates with the ON-OFF lever and is actuated by a plurality of cam projections of an actuating cam rotated together with the minute indicating drum so as to release the ON-OFF lever from the clutch lever thereby permitting the same to be actuated by the clutch cam. Thus, the switch can be closed only when the ON-OFF lever is released from the clutch lever by the actuation of the actuating cam during the time the clutch cam is actuated by the timer setting drum. This insures the actuation of the timer at a far more accurate time as set in the timer setting drum than the actuation solely by the clutch cam without the provision of the ON-OFF lever, because the clutch lever can be actuated only when it is released from the ON-OFF lever actuated in relation to the minute indicating drum in the order of minutes.

    摘要: An electrical magnetic switch adaptable for use in a digital wristwatch in which a command function for a digital wristwatch is controlled by a switch or an actuator. The magnetic switch is normally open and is closed by the movement of the wrist of the wearer to overcome the magnetic force from a permanent magnet on a magnetizable movable armature. The displacement of the magnetizable movable armature against the urgency of the magnetic force closes a circuit for performing a command function for the digital wristwatch. For regulating the magnitude of force on which the magnetizable movable armature is displaced against the urgency of the magnetic force of the permanent magnet, means are provided for adjustably positioning the permanent magnet relative to the path of travel of the magnetizabe movable armature. Alternatively, the movable armature may be a permanent magnet and the adjustably positioned means may be made of magnetizable material.
