    摘要: A heat diffuser for use with an electrically-operated aerosol-generating device is configured to be removably coupled to the aerosol-generating device. The heat diffuser includes a non-combustible porous body for absorbing heat from an electric heating element. The porous body is thermally conductive such that, in use, air drawn through the porous body is heated by the heat absorbed by the porous body. Example embodiments also provide a heated aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating system, both comprising the heat diffuser.

    摘要: An exemplary stage apparatus has a motor, stage, and position-measuring device. The motor has a planar stator and moving-coil mover (planar motor). The stator is a checkerboard magnet array extending in an x-y plane and producing a magnetic field having a field period of 2π in a u-v coordinate system rotated 45° from the x-y coordinate system of the plane. The stage, coupled to the mover, moves with corresponding motions of the mover relative to the stator. The position-measurement device includes a first group of four magnetic-field sensors that are movable with the stage. The sensors are situated at integer multiples of π/2 from each other in u- and v-directions of the u-v coordinate system. The sensors produce respective data regarding a respective component of the magnetic field at, and hence the position of, the respective sensor within the period of the magnetic field.

    摘要: Systems and methods for a linear motor having an integrated position sensing of the anchor of the motor are disclosed. An integrated position sensing of the anchor is achieved by sensing the inductance of one or more coils driving the anchor. The anchor comprises at least one permanent magnet. The inductance is dependent on a current position of the anchor. The anchor is driven by PWM pulses. A control unit controls the duration of driving the anchor and the duration of sensing the inductance. In normal operation during about 80% of a motor control period the anchor is driven and during a remaining time the inductance is sensed. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the linear motors invented are used in a camera module driving a lens barrel and a shutter.

    摘要: A method and a controller for controlling a magnetic bearing device, in which a rotor is suspended for rotation around a shaft, are disclosed. Sensor signals are transformed to yield tilt displacement signals (Sθx, Sθy) which correspond to tilting displacements of the shaft in predetermined directions (x, y). From the tilt displacement signals (Sθx, Sθy), tilt control signals Aθx, Aθy) are derived; these are transformed to yield actuator control signals for driving electromagnetic actuators in the magnetic bearing device. According to the invention, tilting displacements for which the tilt vector rotates about the device axis (z) with a first predetermined sense of rotation are controlled separately from tilting displacements for which the tilt direction vector rotates about the device axis (z) with a second sense of rotation opposite to the first predetermined sense of rotation. In this way, control of nutation and precession can be achieved without influence from blade vibrations or shaft bending modes.

    摘要: A motor control circuit controls a motor in a disc drive. The motor control circuit includes a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) providing a commutation timing signal. A commutation circuit is operably coupled to the VCO and provides commutation signals to the motor based on the commutation timing signal. A phase locked feedback circuit is operably coupled to the commutation circuit and provides a feedback signal to the VCO based on a sensed commutation phase to control a frequency of the commutation timing signal. A modulator is operably coupled to the phase locked feedback circuit and modulates the feedback signal. A method is also provided in which the commutation timing signal is modulated so as to spread a frequency spectrum of the commutation signals.
