Abstract: A method for automated routing of pictures taken on mobile electronic devices to a digital picture frame including a camera integrated with the frame, and a network connection module allowing the frame for direct contact and upload of photos from electronic devices or from photo collections of community members. Clustering photos by content is used to improve display and to respond to photo viewer desires. Trends or patterns can be detected from the photo collections and that information used for various purposes beyond photo display.

Abstract: In implementations of systems for searching for images using generated images, a computing device implements a search system to receive a natural language search query for digital images included in a digital image repository. The search system generates a set of digital images using a machine learning model based on the natural language search query. The machine learning model is trained on training data to generate digital images based on natural language inputs. The search system performs an image-based search for digital images included in the digital image repository using the set of digital images. An indication of the search result is generated for display in a user interface based on performing the image-based search.

Abstract: A method for open-vocabulary query-based dense retrieval is provided. The method includes monitoring camera data including an image related to an object and referencing a set of queries, each of the queries describing a candidate object to be updated by a remote server device. An encoder of an open-vocabulary pre-trained vision-language model system is utilized to initialize a predefined embedding for each query, and a classifier is initialized by mapping the predefined embeddings to weights of the classifier. The method further includes applying a dense open-vocabulary image encoder on the camera data to create a mass of dense embeddings including a set of spatially-arranged embeddings for the image, each including a matrix including embedding vectors. The classifier is utilized by applying the classifier to the plurality of embedding vectors to classify the object within the operating environment as an identified object. The method further includes publishing the identified object.

Abstract: Techniques and solutions are described for clustering, with reduced memory consumption, observations in a data set. A first observation is received. A distance is determined between the first observation and a first cluster. It is determined that the distance satisfies a threshold, and the first observation is added to a first sample of the first cluster. A first set of means is calculated for the first sample using data of the first observations and data of at least a second observation of the first sample. A second set of means is calculated for the plurality of elements for the first cluster using the first set of means for the first sample and at least a third set of means for at least a second sample of the first cluster. An identifier of the first observation is added to a collection of observation identifiers classified in the first cluster.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for synchronizing timestamps associated with media files across a variety of capture devices. For example, the disclosed systems receive a media file captured with a user device and determine, from metadata, initial timestamp information for the media file that includes inaccurate or incomplete time zone information. The disclosed systems determine a predicted time zone for the media file by extracting GPS information from the metadata associated with the media file or identifying a peer media file and utilizing a time zone or GPS information associated with the peer media file. The disclosed systems generate a synchronized timestamp for the media file with updated timestamp information based on the predicted time zone.
