摘要: Non-coaxial systems, methods, and devices for detecting smoke are described herein. A smoke detection system may comprise a laser emitter configured to emit a laser beam, and a light receiver. The light receiver may comprise a first receiver lens, wherein a field of view of the first receiver lens includes at least a portion of the laser beam. The light receiver may also comprise a second receiver lens, wherein a field of view of the second receiver lens includes at least a portion of the laser beam and a region between an edge of the field of view of the first receiver lens and the laser emitter.

摘要: Herein disclosed in some embodiments is a fault detector for power amplifiers of a communication system. The fault detector can detect a portion of the power amplifiers that are in fault condition and can prevent or limit current flow to the power amplifiers in fault condition while allowing the rest of the power amplifiers to operate normally. The fault detector can further indicate which power amplifiers are in fault condition and/or the cause for the power amplifiers to be in fault condition. Based on the indication, a controller can direct communications away from the power amplifiers in fault condition and/or perform operations to correct the fault condition.

摘要: Device for improving an optical detecting smoke apparatus and implementing thereof. Apparatus and methods for detecting the presence of smoke in a small, long-lasting smoke detector are disclosed. Specifically, the present disclosure shows how to build one or more optimized blocking members in a smoke detector to augment signal to noise ratio. This is performed while keeping the reflections from the housing structure to a very low value while satisfying all the other peripheral needs of fast response to smoke and preventing ambient light. This allows very small measurements of light scattering of the smoke particles to be reliable in a device resistant to the negative effects of dust. In particular, geometrical optical elements, e.g., cap and optical defection elements, are disclosed.

摘要: A smoke detection device includes a housing, a smoke collector, an optical detector and a cover plate. The housing has a piercing hole. The smoker collector has a smoke hole, and position of the smoke hole is close to position of the piercing hole. The optical detector is disposed inside the smoke collector and adapted to detect gaseous concentration inside the smoke collector. The cover plate is disposed between the housing and the smoke collector, and used to set a channel from the piercing hole to the smoke hole, so that gaseous matter flows from outside the smoke detection device into the smoke collector through the piercing hole and the smoke hole.

One apparatus a laser emitter configured to emit a beam of light, a rotational component configured to rotate the emitter such that the beam periodically scans across an area, and a light receiver configured to receive a reflected portion of the beam of light and determine a presence of smoke particles in the area based on the reflected portion. The smoke detection apparatus can be configured to operate at a first power level, decrease the beam to a second power level responsive to a determination that an object in the area is in a path of the beam, and increase the beam to the first power level responsive to a determination that the object is no longer in the path of the beam.
