摘要: The application discloses example methods and apparatuses for map generation and for playing broadcast signals. One example map generation method includes receiving multiple pieces of first information, where each piece of the multiple pieces of first information includes a corresponding positioning location of a corresponding terminal, strength of a broadcast signal modulated at a first modulation frequency and received by the corresponding terminal at the corresponding positioning location, and the first modulation frequency. A broadcast signal strength layer is generated according to the multiple pieces of first information, where the broadcast signal strength layer represents a first coverage range corresponding to a first strength range of a broadcast signal modulated at the first modulation frequency.

摘要: An audio delivery system (100) can include an alert processor (108) configured to parse alert content. The alert processor can receive first data representing the alert content. The alert processor can convert the alert content to an alert message that includes alert text and parameters. A connected radio server (120), coupled to the alert processor via internet protocol, can insert the alert content into a data stream. The connected radio server can receive second data representing the alert message from the alert processor via internet protocol. The connected radio server can receive instructions from the alert processor via internet protocol to incorporate the alert message into the data stream. The data stream can include an audio stream and the alert message. The connected radio server can provide the data stream to a connected radio receiver (102) via internet protocol.

摘要: Geocast-based file transfer may be implemented via use of a Geocast File Transfer (GFT) protocol. A sending device may parse a file into multiple chunks. Respective multiple geocast packets comprising the chunks may be geocast. The sending device may geocast all packets sequentially. Upon geocasting all packets, the sending device may wait a predetermined amount of time. During the period of time, any receiving device that did not receive a chunk of the file may geocast a request for the missing chunk. Receiving devices also may wait various respective amounts of time before geocasting requests. Other receiving devices that may have missed a chunk may hear that the chunk it missed is being requested. And that device need not make a request for the chunk. Rather, that device may wait for the sending device to retransmit a geocast packet that contains the missing chunk.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a network communications system the purpose of which is to foster cooperation between synergistic nodes. Such a network is designed specifically to support information gathering and dissemination and is not intended as a general-purpose communications network. In particular, network communications involve transmitting nodes “blindly” broadcasting information in all directions without consideration for the identity of receiving nodes; and receiving nodes “blindly” receiving information, accepting all transmissions on a pre-defined frequency regardless of, and without knowledge of, origin.

摘要: A wireless communication system including at least one wireless base station and two or more wireless terminals, and each of the wireless terminals can communicate with the wireless base station or directly communicate with another wireless terminal. The wireless base station observes reception frames from the wireless terminals, and transmits to one of the wireless terminals a start frame for starting direct communication of the wireless terminal concerned with another wireless terminal on the basis of the reception information of the reception frames.
