    摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display device and a control method thereof. The display device includes a display unit, a light-adjusting structure, and a controller. The display unit may be configured to periodically display n images for different viewing angles in a time-division manner, the respective image for the respective viewing angle is displayed in one frame. The light-adjusting structure may be transformed into m different states, and may be configured to adjust, in the respective states, light emitted by the display unit to directions of different viewing positions. The controller is coupled to the light-adjusting structure and may be configured to control the light-adjusting structure to be periodically transformed into n different states to periodically direct the n images for the different viewing angles to n viewing positions.

    摘要: High-frame-rate stereoscopic projection using a single digital projector provides a powerful sense of immersion when shown on wide screens, and the human eye perceives each frame as unique and separate from the others by virtue of the natural left-right “shuttering” that occurs via the chosen 3D projection technology. Techniques are provided for the introduction of one or more consecutive “digital dark frames” into the image streams presented to the dual projectors in such a manner that the sequence of out-of-phase photography is replicated via out-of-phase projection. This is achieved by alternately introducing the dark frames so that the sequence of stereoscopic images is presented in proper temporal continuity.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method for generating a digital hologram representing a 3D scene including an object, an object being defined by points and their associated intensity. For each object, a prior step of calculating an “omnidirectional” angular spectrum of the light field emitted by an object in the scene on the surface of a geometric solid centered on the object, a surface of the solid being sampled according to a predetermined grid, a sample of the grid being associated with a vector frequency; for the scene, the following steps: —obtaining a pose of an observer in the world frame of reference; —deriving the hologram from the scene as a function of the pose obtained from the “multidirectional” angular spectra calculated for each object. The step of calculating an angular spectrum of the light field for each object of the scene takes into account predetermined viewing directions.

    摘要: The invention discloses a three-dimensional display method based on spatial superposition of sub-pixels' emitted beams. Taking sub-pixels of a display device as the basic display units, sub-pixels that emitting beams of the same color are taken as a sub-pixel group or divided into several sub-pixel groups. Through a beam control device, the sub-pixel groups project more than one image of the target object to a same pupil of the viewer. Passing through a displayed spatial point, more than one beam from sub-pixels of different colors superimpose into a color spatial light spot, where the mosaic of sub-pixels of different colors is employed to present surface-distributed color pixel. The beam control device guides the beam from each sub-pixel to the viewing zone corresponding to a sub-pixel group that contains the sub-pixel, along a special direction and with a constrained divergence angle.

A projection module consists of more than one projection units, and the bracing structure functions as a holder for these projection units.     摘要: One exemplary implementation involves performing operations at an electronic device with one or more processors and a computer-readable storage medium. The device establishes a wireless communication link with a host device. The device receives, from the host device, a left eye frame and a right eye frame via a sequence of interleaved left eye frame transmissions and right eye frame transmissions. The device loads the left eye frame into a left eye display device and loads the right eye frame into a right eye display device on the electronic device, where the loading includes sequentially loading left eye frame portions and right eye frame portions as the sequence of interleaved left eye frame transmissions and right eye frame transmissions is received. The device then concurrently displays the left eye frame and the right eye frame at the electronic device. The device switches data transmissions schemes according to wireless communication link quality and eye gaze tracking.
