摘要： A cutting machine includes a table having a planar working surface lying in a working surface plane, a protective pane, a light curtain device configured to generate a light curtain, a crossbeam above the working surface and designed for linear positionability parallel to a first horizontal axis, and a module on the crossbeam and designed for linear positionability parallel to a second horizontal axis perpendicular to the first horizontal axis. The cutting machine further includes a control unit configured to control the cutting machine. The cutting machine has a first operating state and a second operating state. In the first operating state, the protective pane on a first side of the table is below the working surface plane. In the second operating state, both the protective pane and the light curtain on the first side of the table are at least partially above the working surface plane.

摘要： Machines for cutting products and impellers therefor. Such an impeller is adapted to be coaxially mounted within a cutting head for rotation therein. The impeller includes a lower plate having a paddle that directs material placed on the lower plate in a radially outward direction of the impeller when the impeller is rotated. A recess in the lower plate is continuous between upper and lower surfaces of the lower plate and contiguous with the perimeter of the lower plate to define a passageway to enable debris at the upper surface to exit the impeller therethrough. A chute is located at an outer radial extent of the paddle and defines a first opening adjacent the paddle, a second opening adjacent the recess, and a passageway within the chute and between the first and second openings through which the debris passes before exiting the impeller through the passageway of the recess.

The air springs and spring elements apply pressures to respective corresponding ones of the pairs of rotatably-supporting portions, in opposite directions sandwiching the two rolls. Each rotatably-supporting portion is slidable in directions which cause pressure applied from a corresponding one of the pair of air springs and the pair of spring elements to increase and decrease.

A workpiece part to be cut away is consecutively cut into at least two smaller portions which fall or are lowered downwards from a surrounding remaining workpiece after they have each been cut away. The division into smaller portions and the execution of the cut for separating the first smaller portion occur such that the point at which the first-cut, first smaller portion is cut away lies within the outer contour of the workpiece part to be cut away.

摘要： A re-scaler for a multi-ply cutter includes a cutter table and a cutter frame. The cutter frame includes a fixed re-sealer end attached to an overlay film. The overlay film covers a workpiece on the cutter table through a movable re-sealer end, which is longitudinally displaced along the table and includes a swing arm on each side of the table. The cutter frame further includes a mandrel attached between the swing arms of the movable re-sealer end and the overlay film. Each of the swing arms include an actuator attached thereto, providing rotation of each of the swing arms in a first direction about an axis of the actuator thereby raising the mandrel above the table. The actuators also include a down stop preventing rotation of the swing arm in a second direction thereby establishing a minimum height of the mandrel above the table.
