Abstract: There is provided a printing apparatus which includes the following: A printhead including a plurality of nozzles that discharge ink to a print medium. A first detection unit that detects a distance between the printhead and a platen. An adjustment unit that adjusts the distance between the printhead and the platen. An acquisition unit that acquires difference information concerning a difference of a distance between the platen and each of the nozzle on an upstream side and the nozzle on a downstream side in a conveyance direction of the print medium. The adjustment unit adjusts the distance based on a detection result of the first detection unit and the difference information acquired by the acquisition unit.

Abstract: There is provided a printing apparatus comprises a holding unit configured to hold a roll sheet. The printing apparatus performs: supplying the sheet by rotating the roll sheet held by the holding unit; nipping and conveying the supplied sheet; performing printing on the conveyed sheet; detecting occurrence of a print medium jam of the sheet; and, if the printing apparatus has detected a print medium jam of the sheet, performing a control process of supplying the sheet in a state in which the conveying is stopped.

Abstract: A supply apparatus includes a holder for a liquid container, a link coupled to the holder, an operation handle rotatably coupled to the link, an engaging portion and a rotation restriction unit. The operation handle operate connection and disconnection of the liquid container to and from a supplying portion by rotation with respect to the link. The engaging portion maintains a connection state between the supplying portion and the liquid container by engaging with the operation handle. The unit can restrict rotation of the operation handle when the engaging portion and the operation handle are in a disengaged state.
