摘要: The present invention relates to a method for providing a product viewing window in a container. The container has at least a body ply and a liner ply, wherein the body ply has at least one aperture therethrough. The liner ply is adhered to the inner surface of the body ply and has a portion extending across the aperture, forming a window into the container. The method involves providing a window-finishing machine that comprises at least two platens and, optionally, a machine pocket positioned between them, a heating element extending through at least one of the platens, and a pressurized air device that is adapted to release pressurized air into the container through at least one of the platens. The container is engaged between the platens in an airtight manner and, optionally, the container window is positioned adjacent the inside wall of the machine pocket. The heating element heats the window of the container to the desired temperature, pressurized air is injected into the container such that the window is forced at least partially through the aperture of the container (and optionally into contact with the machine pocket wall), and the container window is then cooled to the desired temperature.

摘要: The folding device includes a folding unit and a prior moving unit. The folding unit performs the folding process on the paper aligned by the alignment member positioned at the folding position. The prior moving unit moves the alignment member from the folding position to the home position or the alignment position according to a position of the end of the paper being moved in the folding process. This can put ahead the starting time for moving the alignment members and reduce the time required for a subsequent folding process, thereby improving efficiency (productivity) of the folding process as a whole.

摘要: The sealing tape for sealing a joint has a first foam strip and a second foam strip of a flexible foam capable of recovery after compression, the first and second foam strips arranged next to each other in a functional direction of the sealing tape. A sheet-type strip serving to reduce a permeability of the sealing tape to diffusion of water vapor in the functional direction is arranged between the first foam strip and the second foam strip and has a section arranged in the shape of a U or V, wherein a first limb and a second limb of this section extend toward the top of the sealing tape.

摘要: A prescription label identity peeler includes a box-shaped housing. A lid extends over the box-shaped housing. A sanding member is adjustably carried within the box-shaped housing. A pair of linkage arms is pivotally extend between the lid and the sanding member. The motorized linkage arms will move the sanding member simultaneously and horizontally against the empty pill bottle in an inverted position, while the wheel on the swing arm assembly will contact a bottom end of the empty pill bottle via compression of the springs, thereby removing the label from the empty pill bottle when the inverted empty pill bottle rotates.

摘要: A paper discharge apparatus includes a conveying path configured to convey a paper from an upstream portion to a downstream portion. A preventing mechanism is provided on the conveying path. The preventing mechanism is configured to prevent the paper from being conveyed to the downstream portion by pushing the paper or blocking the conveying path. A control unit is configured to bend the paper by preventing the conveyance of the paper by using the preventing mechanism, and then convey the paper to the downstream portion of the conveying path for discharge of the paper from the conveying path.

摘要: The present invention provides a bag having front and back panels that are arranged in opposing face-to-face relation with each other and are interconnected to define an interior space of the bag. The front and back panel each include a window portion and an opaque portion. The window portion comprises a transparent sheet material through which the interior space and contents of the bag can be seen. The front and back panels are configured and arranged with respect to each other such that the opaque portion of the back panel is aligned opposite the window portion of the front panel, and the window portion of the back panel is aligned opposite the opaque portion of the front panel. As a result, when one looks through the window portion of either the front or back panels, the opaque portion of the opposite panel is seen.

摘要: An air folder adjuster (10) includes an air supply (12) and air supply tubing (14) connected to air supply (12) at end (16). The opposite end (18) of air supply tubing (14) is connected to one or more air nozzles (20). In a printing press utilized for folding documents such as books, air folder adjuster (10) is positioned so that air nozzles (20) direct compressed air from air supply (12) downward onto the head (26) of document (24) on either side of chopper arm (34) during the folding process thus ensuring that the document (24) lies flat, square, and untouched during the folding process and thereby allowing the elimination of chopper brushes altogether.

摘要: A stock material (16) for use with a dunnage conversion machine (14) includes at least one ply of sheet material having spaced along the length thereof a plurality of transverse rows (22) of weakened areas (24). The weakened areas (24), which can be formed by perforations, for example, have a reduced strength relative to adjacent portions of the sheet material. Each row (22) of weakened areas (24) has at least one parameter that varies along the row (22). The strength of the stock material at the row (22), in response to a force applied across the row (22), varies across the stock material (16).
