    摘要: A traveling vehicle includes a vehicle body, a left swing part, a right swing part, and an interlocking link mechanism. The left swing part and the right swing part are supported on the vehicle body so as to be swingable in the up-down direction, respectively. A left support part supporting a left front wheel is provided on a front part of the left swing part so as to be rotatable about a left steering shaft. A right support part supporting a right front wheel is provided at a front part of the right swing part so as to be rotatable about a right steering shaft. The interlocking link mechanism rotates one of the left support part and the right support part in conjunction with the other. The interlocking link mechanism is provided between the left support part and the right support part.

    摘要: A front suspension for supporting a front wheel of a vehicle having a frame, the front suspension including a front fork which has a pair of tines, and which is supported by the frame, a pair of supporting arms, a bottom bridge, a cushion arm, a pair of push rods, first and second cushion units which are arranged in the right-and-left direction, and which are arranged between and connected to an upper portion of the front fork and the cushion arm, a single spring for supporting a load exerted on the front wheel; and a single damper for damping a vibration due to the single spring. The single spring is housed in the first cushion unit, and the single damper is housed in the second cushion unit. The structure of each of the cushion units can be simplified, and the diameter of each of the cushion units can be made smaller.

    摘要: A stability maintaining and shock absorbing bicycle front fork assembly comprises a steering spindle for pivotal mounting on a bicycle front frame. A single arm fork member having top and bottom ends is rigidly attached adjacent its top end to tope and bottom crown members rigidly attached to the steering spindle. A swing arm assembly is mounted on the single arm fork member to define a swing arm pivot axis oriented generally parallel to the displaceable axis of rotation, for pivotal movement of the swing arm assembly between a forward position, at which the swing arm assembly extends downwardly and rearwardly from the swing arm pivot axis and wherein the displaceable axis of rotation is disposed forwardly of the steering axis and rearwardly of the swing arm pivot axis, and a trailing position at which the displaceable axis of rotation is disposed closer to the steering axis than when in the forward position. A hub defining the displaceable axis of rotation is disposed on the swing arm assembly so as to permit mounting of a front bicycle wheel thereon. A pivotally jointed linkage arm assembly is pivotally mounted at its ends to the single arm fork member and to the swing arm assembly, respectively, and includes a lower linkage arm and an upper shock linkage arm assembly pivotally connected one to the other. A shock absorber is operatively mounted between the single arm fork member and the upper shock linkage arm assembly, to bias the swing arm assembly to its forward position.

    摘要: A body structure for a motorcycle with a front wheel and a rear wheel, including a body frame assembly having an engine mounted thereon and having vertically swingably joined thereto a front leading arm for supporting the front wheel and a rear trailing arm for supporting the rear wheel. The front leading arm as viewed from the side thereof is curved upwardly in the direction of a steering axis of the front wheel. The body frame assembly is shaped in a concave form having front standing portions and rear standing portions to thereby surround the engine. The engine is a V-type with at least a pair of internal combustion cylinders substantially vertically arranged to be respectively forwardly and rearwardly inclined, and may be secured at a front part thereof to the front standing portions of the body frame assembly and at a rear part thereof to the rear standing portions of the body frame assembly. A shock absorber cooperation with the front leading arm and another shock absorber cooperating with the rear trailing arm are arranged under the body frame assembly which has the engine mounted thereon, to be oriented forwardly and rearwardly, respectively.
