Abstract: A damper including a tube, a piston, and a base line valve. The base line valve arranged in fluid communication with at least one of a first and second working chamber of the tube. The base line valve includes a housing, a plug slidably disposed in the housing along a valve axis between open and closed positions, and a spring. The plug includes a plug nose extending through an opening of the housing. The plug nose includes a first annular surface and a second annular surface. The first annular surface being sealingly engaged with a seat of the housing when the plug is in the closed position. The second annular surface being positioned radially inward of the seat by a first dimension when the plug is in the closed position and by a second dimension greater than the first dimension when the plug is in the open position.

Abstract: A damper comprises a pressure tube extending longitudinally between a first pressure tube end and a second pressure tube end, a piston arranged in sliding engagement inside the pressure tube, a piston rod coupled to the piston, a hydraulic rebound stop positioned in a first working chamber and including a sealing ring circumferentially extending around the piston rod and within the pressure tube. The sealing ring at least partially defining a high-pressure region within the pressure tube during a rebound stroke the damper further comprising a pressure relief valve in fluid communication with the high-pressure region. The pressure relief valve being operable to allow pressurized fluid from the high-pressure region to pass therethrough once a predefined pressure threshold has been reached.

Abstract: A shock absorber includes a gas spring cylinder containing a piston moveable between an extended position and a compressed position within the gas spring cylinder. A mechanical actuator is arranged whereby a bleed port is automatically closed when the gas spring is compressed to a predetermined position corresponding to a desired sag setting. In one embodiment, the position corresponds to a predetermined sag setting whereby the gas spring is partially compressed. In another embodiment, a proper sag setting is determined through the use of a processor and sensor that in one instance measure a position of shock absorber components to dictate a proper sag setting and in another instance calculate a pressure corresponding to a preferred sag setting.

Abstract: Disclosed are a compound impact-resistant device and an application thereof. The compound impact-resistant device includes an inner cylinder, a first pressure sensor and an outer cylinder; an inner cavity of the inner cylinder is connected to a magnetorheological damper, a spiral valve element, a floating piston and a spring from bottom to top; and the outer cylinder is connected to a piston rod, a bottom end of the piston rod penetrates a top of the inner cylinder, the spring and the floating piston to be connected to the spiral valve element, and a portion below the spiral valve element is filled with hydraulic oil. The compound impact-resistant device can provide specific initial support force and achieve active self-adaptation to dynamic impact, thus solving the problems that traditional hydraulic buffers cannot provide initial support force and traditional mechanical crushing members have difficulty in providing large support force.

Abstract: A pressure control valve for controlling or regulating a pressure of a compressed fluid in a pilot pressure chamber includes a valve housing with at least one inlet which is fluidically connectable to the pilot pressure chamber, at least one outlet, a tappet mounted in the valve housing to be moved along a longitudinal axis by means of an actuation device that can be energized, and a first seal element which is mounted in the valve housing to move along the longitudinal axis and which is preloaded into a closed position by means of a first spring. A second seal element is secured to the tappet and can be moved by the energization of the actuation device.
