摘要: In a case where an article (A) is advanced along an inclined transport direction (C) by use of an article transverse-pushing body (4) configured to move along a main transport direction (T) and to be movable in a width direction (W) perpendicular to the main transport direction (T), the article transverse-pushing body (4) is accelerated in the width direction (W) in a sorting region (B) and then inertially moved such that the article transverse-pushing body (4) thus moving inertially is brought into contact with the article (A).

摘要: An improved swing arm manipulator is provided for displacing objects on an object carrier surface of an object carrier. The swing arm manipulator includes a swing arm rotatable around a rotation axis transverse to the object carrier surface. The swing arm includes a hollow elongate body and at least one extension part. The at least one extension part has an at least substantially cylindrical portion with which it is rotatably arranged in a hollow inner space of the hollow elongate body and has an at least substantially wedge shaped portion connected thereto, that extends towards the object carrier surface at an angle with respect to a surface normal of the object carrier surface. The improved swing arm manipulator is better arranged to manipulate objects of various sizes, while mitigating the risk that objects get stuck and/or are damaged.

摘要: Examples of automated gemstone feeding are described. According to an example, a gemstone feeding machine includes a conveyor belt assembly to feed holders carrying gemstones. The conveyor belt assembly can include a plurality of conveyor belts in two sets positioned parallel to each other and the two sets can move in opposite directions. Each belt in one set can be positioned alternately with respect to each belt in the other set. The assembly can include a fixed guiding plate at a first end of the conveyor belts and a detachable guiding plate adjacent to the loading assembly at a second end of the conveyor belts. The fixed guiding plate and the detachable guiding plate each comprises a plurality of transition profiles in alignment with immediately adjacent conveyor belts.

摘要: A diverter assembly (25) is provided for guiding articles from a single lane (54) to one of a plurality of lanes (13, 14). The assembly (25) has a pair of spaced apart guides (30) defining a guide channel (49) therebetween. The guides (30) are connected to a rotatably mounted support (24). A first actuator (22, 23) is provided operable to rotate the support (24) to pivot the guides (30), and thereby cause articles to be guided to a selected one of the plurality of lanes.

摘要: A diverter system includes a diverter arm operated by an actuator assembly. The actuator assembly moves the diverter arm between an extended dwell position and a retracted dwell position. The position of the diverter arm is monitored by a sensor. A control system derives a motion signature of the diverter arm based on the positions of the diverter arm measured by the sensor and evaluates the motion signature of the diverter arm to identify an abnormal operation of the diverter arm.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for automated sweepers for item sortation systems. In one embodiment, an example item sortation system may include an aisle, a number of chutes accessible from the aisle, a shuttle configured to transport first items from an induction portion of the item sortation system to a first chute of the plurality of chutes, and a robotic sweeping system disposed in the aisle. The robotic sweeping system may be configured to sweep second items on a floor of the aisle to a first end of the item sortation system. The robotic sweeping system may include a motor and a sweeping device.

摘要: A frictional force monitoring system for middle troughs of a scraper conveyor, comprising a scraper conveyor system and a sensing detection system. The scraper conveyor system consists of a machine body, middle troughs, thrust lugs, scrapers, a double chain, a sprocket, a speed reducer, an electric motor and a frequency converter. The sensing monitoring system consists of force receiving modules, a three-dimensional force sensor, and a pre-embedded temperature sensor. The frictional force monitoring system is able to monitor impact loads, frictional forces, friction coefficients, temperature, etc. between an annular chain, coal bulk, and middle troughs of the scraper conveyor under complex and severe operating conditions, and to provide the technical means for the design, safety early-warning and health evaluation of the scraper conveyor, and can provide a data basis for studying friction wear and fatigue breaking mechanism of middle troughs of a scraper machine.

摘要: A material transfer system for a machine having a conveyor adapted to transfer material into a material holding space of a receptacle. The material transfer system also includes an adjustable deflector positioned proximate to a discharge end of the conveyor. The material transfer system further includes a sensor positioned proximate to the discharge end of the conveyor. The sensor is configured to monitor the material holding space of the receptacle. The material transfer system includes a controller communicably coupled with the adjustable deflector and the sensor. The controller is configured to receive a first input signal from at least one of the sensor and a machine operator for adjusting a position of the adjustable deflector, determine an optimal position of the adjustable deflector based on receipt of the first input signal, and generate a first command signal for adjusting the position of the adjustable deflector to the optimal position.
