摘要: The present invention provides improved solvents, methods, and systems for isolating purified cannabinoids from various sources. It has been found that C9 to C11 non-aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, and especially n-decane, work surprisingly well for crystallization of cannabinoids such as cannabidiol. Some variations provide a method of isolating cannabinoids from a cannabinoid-containing solution, comprising contacting the solution with a C9-C11 non-aromatic hydrocarbon solvent (e.g., n-decane) at a first temperature, to generate a mixture; cooling the mixture to precipitate cannabinoids; and isolating the precipitated cannabinoids. Other variations provide a method of isolating cannabinoids from a cannabinoid-containing solution, comprising contacting the solution with a C9-C11 non-aromatic hydrocarbon solvent (e.g., n-decane) at a first temperature below the solvent boiling point, to generate a mixture; subjecting the mixture to a second temperature that causes vaporization of the solvent, to precipitate at least some of the cannabinoids; and isolating the precipitated cannabinoids.

摘要: The present invention provides honokiol crystal forms A, B and C and amorphous form and a preparation method thereof, wherein the preparation method comprises dissolving honokiol in n-heptane and standing at room temperature overnight to obtain the separated crystal as honokiol crystal form A; heating the honokiol crystal form A and cooling to room temperature to obtain a solid as honokiol crystal form B; heating the honokiol crystal form A to the molten state and then standing at quenching temperature to obtain the separated crystal as honokiol crystal form C; and adding the honokiol crystal form A with an antisolvent in DMSO/H2O system, and thus obtaining the oily matter as honokiol amorphous form. The honokiol crystal forms A, B and C and the amorphous form of the present invention have the advantages of good solubility, good stability, low hygroscopicity, long-term storage and/or good reproducibility, and are suitable for drug development.

摘要: The invention is directed to a method for the manufacture of bisphenol A, and to bisphenol A/phenol adduct crystals. The method of the invention comprises: a) reacting phenol and acetone in the presence of an acidic catalyst to form a reaction product comprising an initial concentration of bisphenol A and an initial concentration of impurities; b) diluting the reaction product with phenol, water and/or acetone, so as to decrease the impurity concentration to 50% by weight or less of the initial concentration of impurities, and adding bisphenol A to increase the concentration thereof in the reaction product; and thereafter c) crystallising a bisphenol A/phenol adduct from the reaction product to produce a crystallised bisphenol A product.
