    摘要: The inventions relates to the method of yarn braking especially at renewal of spinning in a working position of an air jet spinning machine by means of attending a device provided with a vacuum tube (2), into which before commencement of braking there is the end of the yarn (100) sucked in, which at drawing off from the vacuum tube (2) is braked between the braking surfaces of a stationary brake friction member (50) and a moving brake friction member (30), which are arranged on the attending device displaceably to the track of the yarn (100), while for generating the braking force the moving brake friction member (30) moves towards the stationary brake friction member (50) and it fits against it at a contact abscissa (301) or a contact surface (302). To generate the braking force on the moving brake friction member (30) the action force in the loading point (Y) and the reaction force in the stop point (X) is acting, whereas one of these points is to be found at the end of the moving brake friction member (30) lying opposite to the contact abscissa (301) or the contact surface (302) and the second is lying between this member and the contact abscissa (301) or the contact surface (302), while the action force is generated by means of the control member (4) and the reaction force is generated by means of the stop (6), against which the moving brake friction member (30) leans, so that the braking surface of the moving brake friction member (30) always abuts against the braking surface of the stationary brake friction member (5) along the whole length of their contact abscissa (301) or contact surface (302).The inventions also relates to the corresponding device.

    摘要: To control the yarn quality of a yarn produced by a textile machine, particularly a false-twist jet spinning apparatus, there is provided at the end of the spinning operation, however, upstream of the pair of withdrawal rolls for the outfeed of the produced yarn, a yarn tension measuring device. Upon falling outside of a predeterminate yarn tension tolerance or tension range the yarn tension measuring device controls operation of the false-twist jet spinning apparatus such that, as required, there is accomplished an appropriate increase or decrease of the yarn tension of the yarn produced by the false-twist jet spinning apparatus. Alteration of the yarn tension can be achieved, for instance, by varying the blowing intensity or energy of the air utilized for the spinning operation as well as by varying the angle at which there is blown in the air used for the spinning operation or by varying the rotational speed of the delivery rolls which deliver the formed yarn or by selected combinations of these measures.

    摘要: An open end friction spinning machine is provided which exhibits a plurality of adjacently arranged spinning units, each spinning unit including two adjacently arranged rollers forming a wedge-shaped gap. Yarn formation takes place inside the wedge-shaped gap with the assistance of a friction effect of the rollers. This friction effect is dependent on the one hand on the outer surface structure of the rollers and on the other hand on the strength of the suction effect of a suction device creating a suction air stream in the wedge-shaped gap. It is provided that the outer surface structure of the rollers is examined so that a portion of the friction effect dependent upon the outer surface of the rollers can be determined. In order to maintain the entire friction effect in a predetermined range, the suction effect of the suction device can be adjusted corresponding to the measured value of the friction effect due to the outer surface of the rollers.

    摘要: A yarn piecing arrangement is disclosed for an open end friction spinning machine of the type having two friction rollers rotatably drivable in the same direction and disposed adjacent one another to form a yarn forming wedge-shaped gap therebetween, fiber supplying means for supplying individual fibers to the wedge-shaped gap, yarn withdrawal means for withdrawing spun yarn in the direction of the wedge-shaped gap, and suction device means for applying suction forces to hold the spinning yarn in the wedge-shaped gap. In order to facilitate fine control of the yarn piecing process, the friction rollers are stopped before the spun yarn end section is returned to the wedge-shaped gap. Once the yarn end section is positioned at the wedge-shaped gap, the rollers are restarted and yarn piecing is carried out.

    摘要: To control the yarn quality of a yarn produced by a textile machine, for instance a friction spinning apparatus, there is provided at the end of the friction spinning operation, however, forwardly of the pair of withdrawal rolls for the outfeed of the produced yarn, a yarn tension measuring device. Upon deviating from or falling outside of a predeterminate yarn tension tolerance value or range the yarn tension measuring device controls operation of the friction spinning apparatus such that, as required, there is accomplished an appropriate increase or decrease of the yarn tension of the yarn produced by the friction spinning apparatus. Alteration of the yarn tension can be acheived, for instance, by acting upon the drive for one of the friction spinning elements, to control the rotational speed thereof, or by selectively positioning the suction nozzle of a friction spinning element, or by controlling the size of the nip between coacting friction spinning elements, or selected combinations of such measures.
