摘要: A washing machine appliance includes a wash tub defining a wash chamber, a wash basket rotatably mounted within the wash tub, and a motor operably coupled to the wash basket for selectively rotating the wash basket. A controller is configured for accelerating the wash basket to a predetermined speed during an acceleration period and maintaining that speed during a steady state period. The controller further determines a power drop from the maximum power required to accelerate the wash basket to the power required to maintain the predetermined speed, and the dry load weight is calculated using this power drop and a transfer function.

摘要: A method of controlling a washing machine that includes a drum rotatably provided in a tub that receives water, at least one nozzle spraying water into the drum, a washing motor rotating the drum, and a circulation pump circulating water within the washing machine, the method including: operating the washing motor to rotate the drum in a first rotational direction while repeatedly alternating between an acceleration and a deceleration of the drum so that laundry in the drum alternates between maintaining contact with an inner surface of the drum during acceleration, and separates from the inner surface of the drum during deceleration; and operating a circulation pump motor in the circulation pump, while the drum rotates in the first rotational direction, to accelerate a pump speed of the circulation pump during the acceleration of the drum, and to decelerate the pump speed during deceleration of the drum.

摘要: A method of operating a washing appliance includes obtaining images of a wash chamber using a camera assembly while the wash basket is tumbling a load of clothes positioned therein. The one or more images are analyzed using a machine learning image recognition process to determine a tumble condition of the load of clothes in the wash basket, e.g., whether the clothes are tumbling in the wash basket in a manner that generates suitable mechanical washing action. The motor assembly is then used to adjust a basket speed based at least in part on determining that the tumble condition deviates from a target tumble condition.

摘要: A front-loading washing machine and a control method therefor are disclosed. The control method includes: when a sensed amount of laundry in a drum is equal to or less than a preset amount, rubbing step at which the drum is rotated in both directions, wherein the rubbing step comprises: a first rotation step at which the drum is rotated in a first direction by a preset one-direction rotational angle; and a second rotation step at which the drum is rotated by the one-direction rotational angle in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and wherein the first rotation step and the second rotation step are performed alternately and repeatedly. Accordingly, it is possible to perform a washing motion which improves washing performance and reduces wear and tear of the laundry.
