    摘要: A multi-layered lip seal comprising a dynamic layer optionally having a filler incorporated therein and a static layer optionally having a filler incorporated therein is described. The lip seal has an annular ring shape, wherein an inner diameter of the ring shape is curved in an axial direction so as to give the lip seal a J-shape when viewed from a cross-sectional perspective. Fillers that can be included in static layer include stiffening filler, reinforcement fillers, conductive fillers and/or abrasion resistance fillers. Fillers that can be included in the dynamic layer include wear resistance fillers. The use of specific fillers in specific layers of the multi-layered lip seal allows for certain segments of the lip seal to be imparted with the benefits of the filler without negatively impacting other segments of the lip seal.

    摘要: A seal arrangement has two machine parts movable toward one another along or about a movement axis. One of the two machine parts forms a seal holding structure and the other forms a sealing surface. A sealing device between the two machine parts is arranged on or in the seal holding structure, wherein the sealing device includes a sealing element and a pre-tensioning element which is separate from the sealing element and by means of which the sealing element is tensioned in the radial direction against the sealing surface of the respectively other machine part. The sealing element is formed by an elastically deformable sealing film. On the sealing film side, the pre-tensioning element forms an embossed structure which presses into the sealing film where the sealing film bears against the sealing surface with a contact pressure progression which corresponds to the embossed structure of the pre-tensioning element.

    摘要: A radial shaft seal is provided for sealing between high and low pressure sides in an annular space between a shaft and a static structural receiving part, wherein the shaft seal is rotationally symmetric and arranged coaxially to the shaft. A first sealing ring has an inner periphery bulging toward the low pressure side and forms a first sealing lip abutting the shaft. A spacer ring has first and second faces directed towards the high and low pressure sides, respectively. An elastic shaped part has an outer periphery abutting the second face of the spacer ring and an inner periphery bulging toward the high pressure side and abutting the first sealing lip. At least the spacer ring and elastic shaped part define a cavity subjected to the high pressure side or a control pressure which presses the first sealing lip against the shaft via the elastic shaped part.

    摘要: A double sealing device for a rotating shaft comprising a first and a second seal of annular form mounted side by side in a peripheral groove formed in a wall of a circular cylindrical housing through which the shaft to be sealed passes. At least one of a discharge or vent channel opens into the peripheral groove between the two seals. The seals comprise a carrier ring with an outer axial flange and an inner radial flange, and a sealing washer applied to each carrier ring to cover a part of an outer face of the axial flange. A sealing lip bearing is formed slidably on the shaft, the first seal sealing a first fluid medium and the second seal sealing a second fluid medium. The axial flange has an extension forming a pierced structure, not covered by the sealing washer of the seal, and disposed facing the peripheral groove.

    摘要: A radially-sealing ring has a sealing element of a non-elastomeric plastic, preferably of PTFE, planar, annular disk having plane-parallel surfaces held at its outer circumference in a stiffening ring and cold flexed in the axial direction to form a cuff at its inner circumference which engages the shaft with bias. The disk has a thickness of from 0.3 to 0.8 mm and an inside diameter approximately 1.5 to 7 times its thickness less than the diameter of the shaft. The distance between the shaft and the line about stiffening ring where the disk is held is 2 to 7 times as great as the thickness of the disk. The radially-sealing ring is preferably for sealing the crankshaft of a two-cycle engine.

    摘要: A sealing structure is configured in the following manner. When a packing having a pair of sealing portions formed at opposite edge portions of the outer peripheral surface thereof is installed in a land portion of a spool, the outside diameter of the packing is made smaller than the diameter of a slide surface of a spool hole. In a state in which the outer periphery of the land portion opposes the slide surface and a pressurized fluid is supplied from a gas supply channel to the first space of first and second spaces that are partitioned by the land portion, the edge portion of the packing positioned near the first space is elastically elongated in a radial direction due to pressure of the pressurized fluid and thereby narrows a gap formed between the first sealing portion and the slide surface of the spool hole or abuts the slide surface.
