    摘要: A gas cock for a gas burner and pilot flame includes a cock body with a plug receiving seat and a gas passage opening for passage of gas from/to the plug receiving seat. The cock has a conical plug, including a side wall extending around a central conical plug axis and housed in the plug receiving seat. The conical plug includes a plug opening for passage of gas from/to the plug receiving seat by the inner cavity of the conical plug based on a presettable angle of rotation between the cock body and the conical plug. The conical plug outer wall surface includes a groove connected to the plug opening. The groove includes a modulating portion extending between first and second angular positions in a circumferential direction of rotation of the conical plug with a depth that increases or decreases in the radial direction perpendicular to the side wall.

    摘要: A pressure bleed-off system. The system includes a fluid bypass line having an inlet and an opposing outlet, wherein the inlet is in fluid communication with a high pressure frac line for a hydraulic fracturing operation. The system also includes a high pressure transducer located proximate the fluid inlet, a first plug valve residing along the fluid bypass line, and a first electric actuator residing on the first plug valve. The actuator is configured to rotate the first plug valve between close and open positions in response to command signals from a controller. The controller, in turn, sends the command signals in response to control signals delivered by an operator, remotely. Preferably, the command signals are wireless signals sent from outside of the red zone. The system may also include a second plug valve along the bypass line.

    摘要: A valve assembly is adjustable in three independent ways allowing it to provide a variable input volume. The valve assembly has a base and an entrance plate. An outer guide, an inner guide and a shaft, each with a passage, are held together and the shaft is rotatable between the guides. The valve is open when the passages of the inner guide plate and shaft are aligned and closed when the passages are not aligned. The shaft RPM determines how many times per minute the valve opens. The open/closed ratio of the valve assembly determines how long the valve is open during each half revolution. The location of the shaft up or down in relationship to the inner guide determines what percentage of possible flow passes through the valve during each half revolution. The valve assembly can be used with either a gas or liquid medium.

    摘要: A mixing valve assembly includes a valve housing defining an interior, a cold inlet along a first axis, a hot inlet, and a mixed outlet. A metering ball within the interior rotates about the first axis. The metering ball has an outer shell defining: a cold port aligned with the cold inlet; a hot port selectively aligned with the hot inlet; a cold outlet connected to the cold port; and a hot outlet connected to the hot port. Rotation of the metering ball aligns the hot port with the hot inlet, the cold outlet with the mixed outlet, and the hot outlet with the mixed outlet to varying degrees. The metering ball has a central flowpath for hot water and a radially outward flowpath for cold water.

A method of modulating a fluid flow rate includes directing fluid flow through a multifunction valve from an inlet to an outlet, the multifunction valve including a flow control gate, adjusting the flow rate through the multifunction valve by rotating a control shaft to position the flow control gate to variably occlude the outlet of the fluid control valve.
