The deflecting device comprises at least one deflecting surface which is suitable for deflecting the belt links. The deflecting surface is arranged on an underlying surface which is designed to be soft and flexible. The deflecting device additionally comprises at least one securing element, and the deflecting device can thus be secured to a vehicle or a tower of a vehicle.

    摘要: Several examples of a dual remote control and crew-served weapon station are described herein that uniquely provide different operating modes, any one of which can be quickly and efficiently selected based on outputs from various system sensors (e.g., switches and buttons). For example, a first operating mode is a mode in which the weapon is remotely steered and fired (e.g., remote controlled). A second operating mode is a mode in which a weapon cradle is stabilized by a gimbal and the weapon is aimed and fired by a local operator (e.g., crew-served stabilized). A third operating mode is a mode in which the cradle is manually steered and the weapon is fired by the local operator (e.g., full manual).

    摘要: A turret intended to be mounted on an armored vehicle includes: a barrel system having a barrel liner and a protective tube against impacts and vibrations connected to the barrel liner at a junction with a mask of the turret; and a rigid and interchangeable interface system to attach to the turret a piece of functional equipment including at least an aiming system. The interface system is fastened on the protective tube against the impacts and vibrations such that the interface system is placed in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the barrel system. The interface system includes, in the following predefined order: an essentially semi-circular or semi-cylindrical enclosure serving as a support surrounding the protective tube against the impacts and vibrations; a base attached to the enclosure; a plate over the base; and a support fastened perpendicularly to the plate.

    摘要: A mounting system alternatively configurable as either a mount for a remotely operated weapon, or as a defensive fighting position, including a container portion and a platform assembly portion disposed within the container portion. The platform assembly portion includes a vertically moveable platform selectively attachable to which is a remotely operated weapon mount or a plurality of ballistic wall and roof panels, and frame members for supporting the panels. A lift mechanism is operably connected to the platform, and the platform is moveable by the lift mechanism from a first vertical position to a second vertical position located above the first vertical position. The mounting system has a fully deployed state in the second vertical position in which either the weapon mount or the defensive fighting position structure is supported by the platform and is disposed above the container portion.

    摘要: An ammunition supply system includes a weapon mounted on an exterior of a fighting vehicle; a magazine loading unit mounted on the exterior of the fighting vehicle and configured to load a magazine for the weapon; a hatch unit configured to form an entrance to allow a combatant to enter and exit the fighting vehicle; and a hatch lifting unit configured to supply power to the hatch unit to move in a vertical direction with respect to the fighting vehicle. The hatch unit includes: a hatch door unit through which the combatant enters and exits the fighting vehicle, and a hatch passage part forming a passage for connecting the hatch door unit and an interior of the fighting vehicle. The hatch passage part includes a first opening facing the magazine loading unit so that the magazine is transferred from the interior of the fighting vehicle to the magazine loading unit without the combatant being exposed to the exterior of the fighting vehicle.

    摘要: A modular weapon station includes a rotatable frame adapted to be mounted on a platform and is configured to have a removable cradle with a weapon mounted thereon. The rotatable frame may also include a removable ammunition feed chute, an optical sighting unit, and azimuth and elevation drives. The modular weapon station may also include a rotatable drum and ammunition loading assembly coupled with the rotatable frame assembly. The rotatable drum and ammunition loading assembly may be located in an under armor position such that an operator may replenish ammunition from an under armor position and not be subjected to hostile fire while replenishing ammunition. Belted ammunition rounds may travel along an ammunition feed path stemming from the loading assembly within the rotatable drum to a selected weapon.
