摘要: The present invention is a gas block for use with a firearm that includes a tab covering the set screws and held in place by a pin that runs through the gas block body. The gas block body includes a slot around each set screw hole that allows the tab to be inserted into the gas block body. The tab provides several benefits over traditional gas block designs, including preventing the set screws from shifting or rotating during firing and allowing for easy installation and removal of the gas block without the need for specialized tools. 摘要: An adjustable gas system for a firearm includes a one-piece gas block body, configured to be fixed to a barrel of the firearm, and a partial annular gas regulator. The gas block includes a gas flow hole that receives a gas tube of the firearm. The gas block body also includes a gas block body bulge and a ring at one end of the gas flow hole. The gas block body clamps to a barrel of the firearm by: (i) set screw(s), and (ii) direct/physical contact of the gas block body bulge and the ring. The gas regulator, when installed on the barrel, rotatably and partially surrounds the barrel such that, as the gas regulator is rotated around the barrel from a first position to a second position, a diameter of a resultant gas port hole changes as controlled by allocation holes on the gas regulator.

摘要: A firearm including a gas drive, having an annular piston which is displaceably arranged on the barrel to form an expansion chamber between two end positions. At least one gas port penetrates the wall of the barrel in the region of the expansion chamber and a selector is provided. In order to provide a simple and easily adjustable mechanism, the expansion chamber is delimited by a ring surface and an inner cylinder surface of the piston, an end surface of the selector and the barrel. The selector is rotatably arranged on the barrel with at least two predefined rest positions. In each rest position, the gas flow from the expansion chamber is delimitable by at least one selector opening formed on the selector.

摘要: A semiautomatic shotgun comprising a receiver, a barrel, a forward gas block assembly attached to the barrel, a slider assembly rearward of the gas block assembly extending into the receiver. Upon firing a shotshell the explosive gases in the barrel are diverted through two ports into the gas block assembly, specifically into a pair of lateral pressure relief valves positioned on both sides of the barrel. The pressure relief valves further having a gas pathway from the barrel provided by clusters of holes less than a specific size and on-center with the barrel axis. A piston is forced rearwardly and engages a slider of the slider assembly that is linked to a breech block in the receiver. The breech block loads unfired shells and ejects the fired shells accomplishing the semiautomatic recycling. The dual pressure relief valves actuate to moderate and limit the gas pressure that enters the piston chamber when using shotshells of different power levels thereby providing consistency in the recycling operation. The shotgun assembled with a plurality of retention pins having uniformly sized O-rings.

摘要: Systems and methods for an adjustable gas block are described. Systems may include an adjustment subassembly. The adjustment subassembly may include a valve stem end with a front-most portion larger in diameter than the rear-most portion and a boss extending from the forward portion of the valve stem end; a valve ring surrounding the boss of the valve stem end; a valve threaded portion for receiving the boss of the valve stem end and having a threaded portion; and a valve rotator coupled to the valve threaded portion for adjusting the flow of gas. Systems may include a gas block assembly. The gas block assembly may include a gas block through hole; a first duct to direct pressurized gas from a barrel to a plenum; a second duct to direct a regulated volume of gas to a gas operating system; a seat valve to control the regulated volume of gas to the gas operating system; and a gas block threaded portion for coupling to the valve threaded portion. The adjustment subassembly may be coupled to the gas block assembly.

摘要: A gas block for AR-platform firearms is provided which is easier to install and index on a barrel of the firearm by utilizing a wedge (e.g., collet) system. The body of the gas block may therefore be relatively precisely circular, allowing for easy movement into position on the barrel of the firearm. The gas block is stronger, tighter, more durable, and more reliably stays in place than prior art gas blocks. In one embodiment, the gas block eliminates forward gas leakage from between the gas block and barrel. The gas block is interchangeable with standard prior art gas blocks commonly found on barrels of existing AR-platform firearms. The gas block is also compatible with low profile and MLOK handguards for AR-platform firearms.
