    摘要: A liquid surface detecting device includes a movable body, a circuit board, segment electrodes, an output electrode, and a resistive element located across the segment electrodes and the output electrode to be electrically connected thereto. The segment electrodes are arranged on the mounting surface in an electrode region. The resistive element includes first and second resistive portions on both sides of the electrode region in the movement direction. The resistive element is electrically connected to the output electrode at each of the first and second resistive portions. The movement direction in which the movable body moves according to a decrease of the liquid surface level is defined as a reference direction. The second resistive portion located further in the reference direction than the first resistive portion is completely cut off to block a conduction between its output electrode side and electrode region side.

    摘要: A fully adjustable liquid tank float incorporates a float for use for gauging the amount of fuel or other liquid contained within a storage tank, the float being connectable to an adjustable lateral arm, which pivotally connects to a vertical structure, which secures to an adaptor that is mounted onto the top of the storage tank. The adaptor connects a transparent housing, which discloses an indicator of the amount of fuel remaining in the tank. The vertical structure is likewise adjustable in length. A flexible linkage connects with the indicator, and is adjustably secured with the lateral arm, to provide for a precise indication as to when the tank is full, partially full, or approaching empty.

    摘要: A method for adaptive calibration of a fuel level indicator of a filling level of a liquid in a tank accompanying operations. A filling level of the liquid is detected with a sensor arrangement. A sensor signal of the arrangement is provided during a movement of the vehicle. In case that the course of the sensor signal is obtained in a respective defined time interval in which the sensor signal is provided several times, a constant value is assumed, an end stop is detected. The respective time intervals at which the end stops were detected and the respective associated constant values are stored. A minimum number of end stop is defined for the tank, and in the case that the minimum number of end stops is reached, a calibration phase is carried out.

    摘要: A liquid level transducer includes a mounting head for connection to the wall of a tank and a housing extending into the tank from the mounting head. A float rod is pivotally connected to the housing and a float is connected to the float rod for pivotal movement upon a change of liquid level in the tank. A proximal end of the float rod is connected to an actuator portion and constrained for pivotal movement about two parallel axes so that the actuator portion moves in a linear direction with respect to the housing. The interior of the housing includes a sensor assembly responsive to the linear movement of the actuator portion to thereby determine the level of liquid within the tank.
