摘要: A method for mapping underground sensors onto a network map may include obtaining a plurality of magnetic measurements from a plurality of sensors. The method may include using the plurality of magnetic measurements for determining a plurality of sensor locations in an initial network map. The method may include generating updated network maps from the perspective of each localized sensor. The method may include merging the updated network maps into a final network map, the final network map comprising a most accurate location for each sensor. The method may include determining inner localized sensors out of the plurality of sensors in the final network map. The method may include identifying the inner localized sensors as new base station anchors. The method may include mapping the inner localized sensors onto the final network map as new base station anchors.

摘要: A pixelation-based approach to summarize downhole inversion results acquires inversion solutions and generates an initial model. Each layered solution is pixelated into pixels where each pixel contains the resistivity value of the initial model. A weighted function that weighs pixels according to their proximity to the logging tool may be used to generate the pixelated model to thereby improve accuracy. A statistical summary study is performed to identify the best pixelated model, which is then used to determine one or more formation characteristics.

摘要: A digitizing apparatus for transmitting electromagnetic telemetry signals to facilitate drilling operations comprises a local receiver and one or more remote transmitters. A method uses the remote transmitter to measure an electric potential between a pair of ground stakes that are positioned at some distance away from the local receiver. The local receiver is coupled to a surface receiver that is located at or near a drilling rig. The remote transmitter converts the electric potential into a digital signal and transmits the digital signal wirelessly to the local receiver. The local receiver then converts the digital signal into an analog signal that is provided to the surface receiver for processing. The remote transmitter and local receiver may comprise GPS clocks to synchronize the signals to maintain a constant phase shift.

摘要: Disclosed is a system and a method for monitoring water inrush, including: a host terminal, a field host, at least one controller and at least one electrode array. Each electrode array is placed in one borehole and to detect electric field signals of surrounding rocks around the borehole; each controller connects with one electrode array and is to control the electrode array to carry out a high-density induced polarization measurement on the surrounding rocks; the field host connects with the controller and is to send control signals to the controller, receive and process the electric field signals output by the electrode array; and the host terminal connects with the field host and is to receive the electric field signals processed by the field host, determine changes on apparent resistivity and apparent chargeability of the surrounding rocks, and determine whether there exists water inrush according to the changes.

摘要: In addition to drilling operations a hard rock drill rig is used to induce seismic energy into subsurface rock formations. In quartz rich rock the seismic energy will partially convert to electrical energy thereby allowing for the prospecting of ore-bearing quartz veins. Seismic energy and electric energy are detected by a sensor array. The electric energy is used to infer the presence of piezoelectric materials in the rock formations, and such materials are mapped using the detected seismic energy and electric energy.
