    摘要: A mechanical watch includes a balance, an oscillation circuit configured to output a clock signal, a vibration detection unit configured to detect a vibration of the balance and output a vibration detection signal, a speed governing unit including a permanent magnet and a coil, a speed governing control unit, a storage unit configured to store an electrical energy, and a generator. One of the permanent magnet and the coil is held by the balance. The speed governing control unit compares the clock signal and the vibration detection signal and performs the speed governing control of the balance by exerting an electromagnetic force on the permanent magnet, the electromagnetic force being generated by outputting a current to the coil. When a stored energy amount is equal to or smaller than a predetermined value, the speed governing control unit switches a state to a stop state where the speed governing control of the balance is stopped.

    摘要: An oscillator includes oscillator circuitry (8) including a transconductance stage (2) and a resonator (3). A comparator (10) produces first (CLK) and second (/CLK) clock signals which indicate the timing of positive and negative phases of a differential output signal (VIN+-VIN−) produced by the transconductance circuit in response to the resonator. A synchronous rectifier (14) converts the differential output signal to a current (IRECT) in response to the first and second clock signals. A switched capacitor notch filter (15) filters the current in response to the first and second clock signals. A control current (ICONTROL) which controls the transconductance of the transconductance circuit is generated in response to the notch filter. The resonator may be a MEMS resonator.

    摘要: There is disclosed a timepiece having a mechanical clockwork-movement (10) driven by a barrel spring (14) and provided with a mechanical regulator, with a balance and a balance spring, which is associated, via electromagnetic coupling, with an electronic regulator driven by a quartz resonator. The rim of the balance (13) balance is provided with at least one pair of permanent magnets (38, 39). The electronic regulator includes a fixed coil (12) arranged for cooperating with said magnets via electromagnetic coupling, a rectifier (58) provided with at least one capacitor, and a circuit for enslaving the frequency of the mechanical regulator to the oscillator frequency by braking obtained by briefly short-circuiting the coil. In order to use a mechanical movement of a common type, in which only the balance is altered, the coil (12) is located on the side of the balance-cock (23) with respect to the balance rim. The pair of magnets (38, 39) is covered by a plate of magnetic material in order to close field lines on the side of the plate. Apart from the coil, all of the rest of the electronic module (11) is located outside the mechanical movement.

The escape wheel is driven by a balance wheel and a driven wheel of the movement meshes with the pinion. The ends of the spindle are journalled in bearings which are adapted to permit relative movement of the spindle assembly radially of the axis of rotation of the driven wheel of the movement. A biasing spring urges the spindle assembly in the direction towards said axis.

    摘要: The termination arrangement comprises a two conductor hairspring and/or hub arrangement in an electric watch for coupling drive pulses to a balance wheel drive coil. A metallic hairspring, which is fastened to the hub, has a conductor which is insulated from the hub and balance wheel staff or arbor. A contact - metallic washer like - member is bonded to the hairspring collet such that the contact member is electrically insulated from the hairspring colet. The contact member is, also, electrically connected with one end of the second conductor on the hairspring. And a helical type spring-conductor having less than one full turn in length is bonded to the balance wheel between the hairspring-hub arrangement and the contact member. The helical type spring at the end which is bonded to the balance wheel is electrically connected to one end of the balance wheel drive coil. The other end of the spring-conductor is maintained in electrical contact with the contact-washer member by the pressure of the spring.In this manner, a termination arrangement is provided for a two conductor hairspring and/or hub arrangement in an electrical watch which is capable of coupling drive pulses to a balance wheel drive coil and which facilitates the removal and setting of the hairspring or balance wheel by automatically making electrical contact without requiring soldering, etc.

The balance wheel is designed so that the body position is normally offset from the axis of the balance wheel in order that variations in body weight cause a related movement of the balance wheel about the axis. The rotation of the axially supported and initially unpoised balance wheel presents a portion of the counterweight to a stationary tool. The counterweight portion is of a predetermined configuration and the wheel is so designed that the tool removes sufficient material to poise the balance wheel.

    摘要: An electronically regulated watch movement comprising a time-wheel mechanism driven by a drive, a generator being coupled to the drive via at least a portion of the time-wheel mechanism and with substantial gear reduction. The generator includes a rotor with magnets and coils for producing a.c. voltage at a frequency of operation FG. An electronic regulating circuit is connected to the generator and includes an oscillator for producing a precise reference frequency FR and a comparator having inputs receiving frequencies FR and FG to compare the same. A power source is connected to the comparator and the generator to supply current to the generator when FG > FR to brake the generator until FG = FR and thereby provide a regulated operation of the time-wheel mechanism.
