    摘要: A body worn proximity sensing and alerting device for maintaining personal space includes a housing, which defines an interior space. A fastener is engaged to a first face of the housing and can selectively engage a user so that the housing is removably engaged to the user. A battery and a microprocessor are engaged to the housing and are positioned in the interior space. An alert module is engaged to the housing. A sensor is engaged to a second face of the housing. The microprocessor is operationally engaged to the battery and is communicatively engaged to the alert module and the sensor. The sensor performs proximity detection and communicates detection events to the microprocessor. The microprocessor selectively actuates the alert module to alert the user of detection events, facilitating the user in maintaining their personal space and distance from others.

    摘要: In general, a smart door alarm and locking mechanism and methods for use thereof are provided for maintaining security while providing ease of access to a fuel dispenser. In an exemplary embodiment, the methods and devices are used in fuel dispensing devices for providing fuel to a vehicle. However, the methods and devices can be utilized in any device having a payment system where security and access are both required. In some embodiments, the described methods and systems include a door alarm and door lock kit that allow unlocking one or more doors in a housing of a fuel dispenser and simultaneously disabling or de-activating respective door alarm sensor(s). In a similar manner, the door can be locked and the door alarm sensor activated or re-activated substantially simultaneously.

    摘要: A video doorbell and an automatic setting method thereof are provided. The video doorbell includes a bridge rectifying unit, a switch unit, and a processing unit. The bridge rectifying unit is configured to output a DC voltage when receiving an AC power from a transformer. During a chime type detection mode, the switch unit is configured to switch a path of the AC power for generating a short-circuit current to trigger a chime. After the short-circuit current is kept for a detection time, the short-circuit current is terminated. During the chime type detection mode, when the short-circuit current is terminated, the processing unit detects a rising time of the DC voltage rising from a first level to a second level, and determine whether the chime is an analog chime or a digital chime according to the rising time.
