Abstract:
Automotive hydraulic actuating system 21 for operating a vehicle part, like a sunroof, spoiler, boot lid, convertible roof etc. The actuating system comprises a pump unit 26 with a compact configuration. The pump unit comprises a piston pump 4 which has a rotor 46 including pistons 41 and an eccentric ring 48 which is positioned around the rotor at an adjustable eccentricity E. The eccentric ring is adjustable by a ring actuator 5. The ring actuator comprises an actuator 51 which is in an axial direction positioned aside the eccentric ring. The actuator 51 is positioned opposite and end face of the eccentric ring and engages the eccentric ring at a position within an outer ring contour 4821. The positioning of the actuator contributes to the compact configuration which advantageously allows an installation at a narrow mounting space, like in a chassis compartment close to a movable vehicle part.

Vehicle door operating system (1) comprising a hydraulic actuating circuit (100) and an emergency circuit (200). The actuating circuit (100) comprises a double acting hydraulic cylinder as a door actuator for driving a door mechanism (19). The emergency circuit comprises a by-pass conduit (201) including an emergency valve (210). The emergency valve can be opened by manually operating a relief valve (227) which causes a depressurising of a single acting pneumatic cylinder (220) which is operatively connected to the emergency valve (210). Further, the emergency circuit (200) comprises a hydraulically actable reset cylinder (230) including a pneumatic pump chamber (233) for resetting the system to an operational state after an occurrence of an emergency situation.

Hydraulic pump unit (1) comprising a pump (2), a reservoir (3), multiple line connectors (99) and at least one valve seat (40) and a main body (5) including a channel system (50) having duct ends (502) which define multiple ports (52) in a common port face (51). The port face (51) of the main body (5) is a planar face of an outer surface of the main body (5). The pump unit comprises a function plate (6) which comprises a slotted passageway (60). The function plate (6) is placed to the port face (51) such that the slotted passageway (60) mates with at least two ports (52) to define a flow path in between these ports (52). An end body (9) sandwiches the function plate (6) between the port face (51) of the main body (5) and the end body (9) itself.
